Andy's Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Mokena

Haven’t tried it yet, giving one star bc the hours are incorrect right now on Google. Drove past it tonight, there were a bunch of cars in the parking lot, and the restaurant was fully lit and looked like it was OPEN. I check the hours on Google, says open. Turned around to go there, it’s not open. They set up small barricades to the entrance and had cars parked diagonally to block the drive through. I mean, have some decency and turn the lights down, put a closed sign up… I had hope and a little joy for ice cream tonight, and you crushed it. Lastly the sign say open 8-2… are those the hours? The opening day? This place is clearly already poorly managed. Might not go now out of spite. Maybe put a sign up when you guys officially open?

If I end up trying this place, I’ll change my review but right now, poorly managed, be more clear as to when you’re actually open....

I thought I'd try the latest custard dessert store in the area. Customers order from outside via the walk-up window or drive thru. It was a whole lot less busy on Tuesday afternoon than on the weekend. I tried the Bootdaddy concrete mix. My friend ordered the peach dream concrete mix. Both were delicious. Minimal bench-style seating outside. Custard was good. Service was decent. Ample parking available. Credit cards accepted. ...

Probably should be a responsible business owner or manager and change the hours on Google to reflect the actual location. Drove 30 Minutes completely out of my way to stop here only to see the drive thrus blocked off by cars, restaurant fully lit. I get you have to train people seeing as it is a new location, but reflect that on your sign and website. Pretty insane that even needs to be said. Don’t have “OPEN”...
