We typically love this place and have been happy with most of our visit, though today I wasn’t happy with my food. This time we had the lamb chops and the moussaka plates. Unfortunately the lamb chops plate was a let down, they were cold and the sauce did not work well. The moussaka was solid as expected. Service could be more attentive too, did not make sure we have silverware etc. Dropping to 4 stars, but still a good place overall! ======== This was our first time at this location, we typically go to the one in Kirkland and we like the food there. This location has more of a Greek theme where the one in Kirkland has a Persian touch; they both keep the same level of standards with great tasting food. As soon as we walked in the restaurant we were greeted and offered a table, the staff is very friendly. We ordered some hot tea, the moussaka plate which comes with a soup or salad, veggies and a baklava for dessert, the lamb kabob plate which also comes with a soup or salad, rice and veggies, some greek fries and we also picked up a couple of beef and lamb gyro sandwiches to go for our friends. I really loved the chicken soup, it had a lot of flavor. The lentil soup was great too. The lamb kabob were juicy, loved them. The moussaka... pleasantly surprised with off the menu item! It had a great flavor and was pretty filling. The only item we didn't like much was the baklava. Our friends also loved the gyro sandwiches. This can easily become our to go place for dinner when coming back from Steven's pass.

Traveler review in contrast of local reputation. Very disappointed. I ordered the sampler platter with standard Mediterranean fares (dolma, baba ghanoush, hummus) and a baklava to go. Comparing these dishes to identical dishes served in Mediterranean restaurants across America, this is for sure the most bland and lowest quality I have ever purchased. Much of the food comes from a can and tastes like it. You can see their food inventory from inside the restaurant. In a city? In an agricultural state? I’ve had fresher and tastier Mediterranean food in rural Ohio. I didn’t finish my first bite of baklava, the texture was wrong. (Maybe it had been sitting too long? Hard and chewy on bottom rather than merely a delicate pastry moist with honey.) Pita bread tasted like it was purchased in a plastic package next door at Safeway, and chewed like it (dry, not fresh, cold, not toasted). Food - 1 star. Service and restaurant cleanliness - 4. (Food is the primary consideration in a takeout order.) Photos indicate the blah food I received and contrasted with images from google. I don’t expect photo-perfect food but *I do expect colors from fresh foods.* Google removed my photos from google search results. Image search for “Mediterranean sampler plate” or “Mediterranean mezze” and you will see many colors of fresh food, not the boring colors of not fresh food in my photo.

I have no idea how this restaurant manages to serve the quality and quantity of food it does at the prices it maintains. One or the most value for money restaurants I have ever been too! Food: Every dish comes with a side of salad, rice and steamed vegetables which by itself is filling. I came with a large group of friends and each one of us enjoyed every dish we ordered. Both the Beef-Lamb kabobs and gyros could melt in your mouth. The fettuccine Alfredo and carbonara was delicious as was the chicken kabobs! We also ordered the taste platter and my favorite dips were the babaganoush and feta-cheese dip. Service: our lady server was super friendly and very accommodating to different dietary needs. The interiors are amazing too. Blows my mind how this small restaurant got everything right! Definitely worth a visit if you are in Monroe.

Love their foods! Me and my husband's favorite is their lasagna!!! Anyone should definitely try it. It's the best! And i love their pita and hummus as well! Also when i picked up our orders from them one time - they provided an amazing costumer service!

update: 11/02/23 Id like to add another amazing review for these restaurant:

This is one of my most fave restaurant in Monroe and even one of my most fave Mediterranean food place in Washington. They have tons of great foods!! - and besides our most fave lasagna, their other pasta dishes and rice dishes are soo yummy as well!!! Also I'm always a fan of their pita and hummus and even their spinach dips!

In addition, i would say on top of their delicious foods, their customer service is just as great!!! I always get a nice customer service from 'em but today they went above and beyond with their service. So what happened is I ordered food from uber eats but the driver picked up the wrong order - he delivered somebody elses and these order was a lot of foods which actually some of 'em are my faves but they didn't have the one that i ordered which is yeah you guessed it Lasagna which i ordered for my husband to suprise him when he gets home. So I called the store and informed them of what happened. Then they found out that my order was still there. They apologized and the manager offered to drop the food off to our house eventhough i believe it wasn't their fault but the driver because they verified the order with him before it was picked up. But these errors happen sometimes and probably driver didn't mean to pick up the wrong order as well. But the restaurant handled the situation well. I'm so greatful of MELISSA the manager to drive all the way to our home to hand off the order to me and so nice she even added extra pita and hummus for us!!! Thank you Melissa the restaurant is blessed to have you an an amazing staff like you! I would say I'm pretty blessed myself today cuz on top of me getting my lasagna order, I also get to keep all the other extra tasty foods as well!

Just wanna say thank you Bella Balduccis for delicious foods and excellent customer...
