WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! They have DJ and music but there is no specified dancing area. You can dance at your own risk but if you unintentionally and unknowingly bump into someone else who was walking to their table while you were dancing, they will throw you out with no warning. They don’t even give you the chance to apologize from the person whom you bumped into.
Half of the whole restaurant is ALWAYS empty and unused while it could be a great separate area for dancing to avoid such issues.
The only thing I like about it is the bartenders. They are very nice people.
Reply to your answer: Yes Mario. It’s great that everyone can read this publicly and judge by themself. That’s what this platform is for. The fact that I don’t buy drink or I am alone does not justify asking me out and is not relevant. If you want you can charge a cover fee to earn money even when people want to enter but not buy drinks. One of the reasons why people come to your bar is to dance because you have DJ and music. I came to the place to enjoy my time and dance. I’m sure I did not hit anyone but even if I unintentionally bumped into someone, you could give me the chance to apologize. Call it whatever you want: “jumping around”, “dancing wildly”, I did not do anything wrong. Every-time I dance anywhere, a lot of people come to me and tell me that they are enjoying my energy and vibe and I’m one of the reasons why some people come to the bars where I go. You saw my comment for Barmel on my Google reviews profile, but their staff were very nice and they invited me to Barmel again after that to explain why that had happened the other night after I posted the review. What is obvious to me is that you are not a professional businessman and everyone can see that from how you have left half of your valuable piece of land in that restaurant useless and you treat customers like this. I’m happy that you doubled my 1-star review with this rude answer that you wrote....
Read more7/29/2016 I've never had service worse than here. I left feeling completely insulted. I've had better service at a McDonald's. Over priced for what we were served. We were seated at a table quickly and the server came around quickly as well. He failed to introduce himself (which isn't the worst thing in the world) and took our drink orders quickly (a pop and water with drinks decided on after getting food). He promised to come back with bread in a second. He came back about ten minutes later to take our food order (still no bread). Two minutes later we received our food, he said that he'd be back with some freshly grated cheese and the bread came about two minutes later. He came around five minutes later with the check saying that he was about to be busy (it was a Friday night and it was busy but it wasn't anything that a server shouldn't have been able to handle). My friend told him we were actually looking to order dessert as well. He said okay let me know when you want to order and hurried away. We looked at our bill to see how long we had been there and found that from the time our order had been placed only twenty minutes had passed. We felt like they were trying to rush us out of the restaurant and ignored at the same time. He never asked us how anything was. I had to chase him down from a nearby table in order to place or dessert order. The only time that he told us no rush on the bill was after we'd ordered dessert. Or entire meal only lasted about thirty five minutes. We never even got any extra cheese. Avoid this place like the plague. Horrible experience I wouldn't wish...
Read moreI'd actually probably give this a 3.5 instead of 4 if I could, but rounded up instead of down since they were accommodating with getting us a table without reservations.
The food here is really good, but the service is a little odd. My friend ordered the gnocchi trio (which we had looked up online prior to coming to the restaurant). The pictures show three different types of gnocchi in three different dishes, but what my friend got was clearly one type on gnocchi in one dish. When he asked the waiter about it, the waiter confidently stated that all three types of gnocchi were in there (which didn't make sense because one was supposed to have red meat sauce and another was supposed to have a pesto sauce). Other things that took points off for me were things like the time it took to get bread, or the server/other wait staff staring at our empty olive oil dish and then doing nothing about it, or us asking for something that took way too long to get.
We also got dessert, which was delicious, but the cannoli was only filled at the ends (as opposed to filled all the way through). This was disappointing given that it was $10.00 for one cannoli.
Long story short: The food is really good, if you actually get what you order. The desserts are also delicious, but the cannoli isn't worth $10.00. The creme brulee cheesecake, however,...
