I placed an order over the phone. Sometimes when I call in my orders I want to change my voice. Or speak in a different pace or use words I don't usually use. I want to try another personality out. My friends and family already know me, it'd be weird if I did that with them. If I changed my voice when ordering here, the cashier at Dos Victorias wouldn't have anything to compare it to. They'd just think that someone on this Earth talks and sounds like that. I might like the new way I talk and sound. I might want to make it my new identity. It's scary trying to be a new person with the people that already know me. What if they don't like the new person I become? I'd like to think that if they really loved me, they'd love any person I turn into, but that can't be true. If I started kicking every dog I see, I hope my loved ones would stop loving me. The change I want to make in my life isn't that drastic, I just want to talk a little differently sometimes. Like it'd be fun to speak in third person more. What would happen if Luke started doing this? Would I lose some of my family and friends? Luke is ready to take that chance. The next time Luke orders over the phone, Luke will speak in third person. It will help save time too, the cashier won't need to ask for the name on the order. Anyway, Luke thoroughly enjoyed his...
Read moreThis place is a staple dinner spot in town. Very friendly, kind staff with quick service. Takes card or cash and for a reasonable amount. Lots to choose from and they open rather early for those that get a jump on the day. I think they told me 7 am but maybe that's when they start setting up. I have recently tried to eat between vegan and vegetarian and they have options if you don't go for slaughter. Drinks are rather pricey so I usually don't dine in since I live near by, but you totally can. Big table area that could accommodate larger groups who may be wandering the beach/ park/ driving spot nearby. I recommend it highly and if you have a few extra bucks on hand...
Read moreIn a coastal area where there are endless restaurants that will charge you an arm and a leg for mediocre at best food, paired with overpriced views and 'fancy plating', this is truly a hidden gem that I couldn't be more pleased with. Amazing food, tremendously priced ($3 fish tacos), and incredible staff.
Don't make the mistake and pay $20+ for inauthentic, tasteless, small portioned tacos. Come here, get enough food for you, your friends, your family, even that friendly guy you walked by on the street...and still have enough money leftover to buy a nice beer to sip while you sit on the beach chuckling at those who overpaid and and were...
