Noticed a past photo of the legendary Efren Reyes in this bars profile and figured I'd stop by to hit a few balls around. A few 9 foot tables. The one I played on seemed decent.
Was told that they were closing in less than an hour and that if I was going to play, I'd be charged $14 dollars for an hour. I probably spent a total of 15-20 minutes shooting for a bit and decided to leave. Was charged for a full hour. Either the red head bar tender guy didn't know how to properly calculate time for pool or just simply wanted to charge me because I wasn't going to order any food did not feel welcoming. The lights on the pool table had a switch and for a few minutes, I was shooting waiting for him to turn them on as well. A nearby player was kind enough to hopped over to showed me where that was located.

And I still don't know his name.
All of this is coming from a fellow veteran. I don't care if you're the pope. If you run a business like that, I won't support it. A polite introduction would have gone a long way. I won't be...

I was impressed when I first walked in. The place was very clean, there was ample space between each table, and the layout felt like a good old classic pool hall. Not too big, but not too small. Every table looked fresh, with untorn even looking cloth. The equipment looked in very good shape. I was greeted right away, and within minutes was shooting pool. Personally, I think it is a great local pool hall, and committed to having good...
