Loved taking my kids to this place⌠Until they tried to start charging me $10 to supervise them while they play haha what a joke! As if parents donât have enough stuff to pay for these days! I suggest you change your policy cause until you do, I wonât be coming back.
A response to the response. Wouldnât it be just as easy to add a second color wristband for parents exclusively that are there exclusively to watch their kids to make sure that their kids donât get unwanted, touching or rooming or something of that sort from somebody in the arcade? You ask us to wait up front where our children are not always in view which is just not a solution. There are multiple other options that would suffice. I will give you one, have a second wristband exclusively for parents that are there to watch their kids play games. Unlike a movie where the entertainment value may be geared towards children parents can typically still have fun watching the movie as there is often parental humor, nestled in to the plot which provides entertainment value to the parent. I understand every business has to make money to survive, Iâm just letting you know that youâre leaving money on the table with a policy that charges parental supervisors without...
Read moreWOW! MPUSD is so thankful to the amazing High Scores Arcade team! We took a group of 30 students to the arcade to learn about Game Design and history and were not disappointed, the delightful owners worked with us every step of the way from detailed planning to welcoming our group and giving us the presentation themselves! It was echoed throughout all of our students that this was the best field trip they had been on. Not only did they learn about the industry ,but they had a blast playing at the arcade to get some hands on time with the games understanding character, music, and graphics usage in successful games. I have been there not only as a patron on my own time but now with my students and impressed every time by the amazing atmosphere, pricing, and versatility of this arcade. MaHS would like to once again thank the team for a wonderful trip and gives High Scores Arcade every...
Read moreThis was great fun for the whole family (two parents and three kids - 18, 16, 12). For the adults, it was a nostalgia-filled trip down Memory Lane; and for the kids, it was a cool experience to play some of the original video games of the 1980s. Complementing the experience is 80s music playing from the jukebox. $10 per person per hour is extremely reasonable given that you get unlimited play on all the games. The staff member on-site was welcoming and friendly.
We went on a Thursday evening, which meant it wasn't very crowded so we could pretty much play any game we wanted without a wait. My one regret is that we only spent one hour there. Will definitely go again if we find ourselves...
