The Story: Stumbled upon this place several years ago, and have been coming back almost monthly ever since. The burgers are all very tasty, because the meat that is used has such a great flavor. Like a crunchy burger? Be sure to Crunchify (add potato chips) your burger.
*Make sure that you read the burger cooking guide at the register before you order. I ordered my burger rare. When I cut my burger in half I saw mostly raw beef inside. If you order your burger rare, you will receive a very bloody burger with a cool center and about 13 seconds of cooking on each side. YUM! I was shocked at how delicious it was.
Standard cut fries are cooked to be crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Really great flavor as well.
Vanilla Shake is delicious although it is one of the pricier items.
Overall, for a family of 4, it was about $40 for our order. We had 4 burgers and we split an order of fries on most visits. The wait staff really only bring you your food and condiments, but if you need anything else, they tend to be accommodating. It's in Mohegan Sun, so the environment will change based on the crowd of people and the...
Read moreThis was my first time at Bobby’s Burgers, and as a burger lover, I had high expectations. I ordered the Brunch Burger and got it "Crunchified," which I really enjoyed. The burger itself was cooked perfectly to medium rare, but there was a seasoning or flavor that didn’t sit well with me.
The fries—both regular and sweet potato—were delicious, and I liked the "Undecided" option, which lets you mix them. However, I was disappointed that fries didn’t automatically come with the burger, especially given the already high prices( but then again, you are at a casino). I also wasn’t a fan of the side sauces that came with the fries.
The seating arrangement is first-come, first-served, so you have to find a place on your own. When I was there, it was pretty busy, but we were able to find three seats. We also had to wait in line for about 5–10 minutes to order.
Overall, while the food had some highlights, it didn’t feel worth the cost to me. I probably wouldn’t...
Read moreWas so excited to try the famous Bobby flays turkey burger only to soo deflated after this experience. Upon ordering my food I asked the server Mia if it was OK for my friend who just purchased food from the food court next door to bring in his food and that he would be ordering also? She said yes it was fine. Then minutes later after we ordered we were told no he could not bring in his food but that they would pack our order to go and we could take it out to the food court and eat it there. Now we both felt uncomfortable so we took our food to the food court were my friend threw his turkey burger away and my burger which was ordered well done still had pink in it. Sorry Bobby never again for a $14.00 burger that didn't even come with a pickle or anything else. I feel like the casino restaurants cater to the customers who use and have wampum points but don't care about the local customers who come to dine and...
