I recently gave an excellent review on this location a couple of weeks ago. Today I have to retract every great thing that was said!! Today had to be the WORST Wingstop/ Restaurant experience in my entire life! My husband and I went in to dine in. We placed our order and was told it would be a 30 min. wait. We sat and waited...and waited. It was getting close to an hour that we were waiting. I went up to the counter to ask why was it taking so long, there were people sitting and waiting all over the place. People were leaving and returning complaining of orders being wrong, some were missing chicken, some were missing fries, it was terrible. I went to asked about my order, the guy who took my order reached for the bag that had been sitting near the counter for a while. He said here you go. I said absolutely not that bag has been sitting there for a while. Why is it that no one called my name to retrieve my food? He said we could make it over but it's going to take a while. I said absolutely not, I was not willing to wait any longer, by this time it had been well over an hour. He said ok because my manager is not here and you paid with card, I cannot issue you a refund. I said, I will just take cash instead. He said no, I cannot do that either, my manager will process your refund and you'll receive it in 7-10 business day. Lol I said I need proof that you actually refunded my money. He insisted that I accept his ridiculous response. I said no, that is unacceptable! Another teammate called the manager and I spoke with here myself. She said give you email and phone number. I will email a copy of the refund. I asked her if this would be instant, and that I would stay there at the restaurant until I received the email. Needless to say, I never got an email. I asked the unprofessional young teammates there for their manager's name and number. The young lady employee asked someone for the number, just as he was about to give it to her, the other guy( the order taker) call them both to the back where they huddled together. "Order taker" came and said we cannot give you our manager's name and number. Claiming that he could lose his job. I once again told him that I wasn't leaving until I retrieved my money. He said well you can stay and we can call the police then. As I exited the store to tell my husband what this incompetent joke of an employee was saying, another adult teammate has witnessed everything and said, no way Ma'am, we're gonna go and get you your money, he gave me my full refund right there. I thanked him and said that's all I asked for, no way it should have been that difficult to do that. What happened to Customer Service? It's simple, I didn't receive a product or service from you, give me my money...period! That young guy has alot to learn about how the world operates. Oh and he actually did call the police, saw them pulling up as I was leaving. The audacity to call the police when you are in the wrong is diabolical. Needless to say, this boy was more concerned about losing his job than following proper protocol and conducting customer service as he should. He shouldn't be working at all if this is how he tries to handle faithful customers. This was our favorite spot but I will never return here ever again. This location will lose alot more Customers with this dude...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter a year and a half of quick and professional service, this Wingstop has gone downhill as of late. At first, their speed and efficiency tanked. I thought, āThey are probably training new people or their system is having issues. Give them a month to straighten out.ā I visited them once in a while after that.
The ice machine was constantly out of ice, but they always got me ice in the back. The service then started to decline a little. Last night is what settled for me that this Wingstop has totally done a 180. I walked in and you could tell they were behind. I waited and they (one of the managers) asked me what order I was there for. I told them the customerās name and after a minute, they said it would be a few more minutes.
The order had three drinks so I asked if I could have the cups so I can have them already filled when the order came out. Who I presume was the manager shot me a look as she was counting money and the other manger asked the cooks if drinks were really on the order. DoorDashers sometimes get treated like this, but it still left me upset. I was given the three cups and realized they were out of ice again so I went back to the counter.
A customer politely stated they asked for ordinary fries and one of the managers stated they ordered some special which required those type of fries which I found odd. Normally, you can substitute things very easily and you would have saved a little on food costs. The customer was understanding and asked for three ranches. The other manager said those would cost extra and the customer said she already paid for them, but never received them.
The other manager asked to see the receipt or she would have to pay for them. My eyes widened. This reeked of upper management. The customer was agitated and went back for the receipt. The other manager confirmed it and gave her the ranches. I asked an employee/manager in training if she could fill up the cups with ice since their machine didnāt have any.
They looked at me like āYou think that is my job?ā and faced the manager, leaving her back towards me. I finally sat the three cups down and walked out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWingstop had always been my absolute favorite place to get some great wings since my childhood but my experience at this location was not only the worst wingstop experience, but the worst restaurant experience Iāve ever had.
When my family walked in there was one maybe two other customers in the store. When we ordered the cashier may have been new but she had no clue what she was doing and seemed very out of it. The typical wait time for most wingstop locations is about 18 minutes to receive your order. As we sat waiting there was maybe a customer or two that came into the store to pick up an online order. We waited for a total of about 40 minutes as they only called a few online orders. After 40 minutes we finally decided to ask the cashier if our order was ready. She then mumbled something about getting a tray from the back and then grabbed some boxes that were sitting in the kitchen. When handed the tray we checked to make sure everything was accounted for.
For starters there were two orders of fries missing. The cashier told the fry cook that we were missing them so he grabbed some that just came out of the fryer and put them in containers and the cashier gave them to us, which is no big deal, mistakes happen. When we got to the table and assessed the full meal we were extremely disappointed. Every single wing was very small and just slightly warmer than room temperature, the fries that were on the tray when first given to us were cold, and the fries given to us right out of the fryer were under cooked and just slightly warmer than the wings.
Our order had to have been sitting in the kitchen for at least 20 minutes while new online orders took...
