Starting to get a little bit frustrated with Chipotle. Not only this one but others in the area that I regularly buy from. Seems that just about every time I place an order there, the order I go to pick up is incorrect in some way. Like certain things are forgotten all together or the wrong things are entered in. The last order I placed on Saturday March 27th, I ordered three steak tacos and got three chicken tacos. The package even said steak tacos on it and I checked it in the restaurant but I didn't actually rip the package open and dump the contents out on the table to examine if it was chicken or steak, didn't find that surprise out till I got home. I know they always tell you to double check your orders when you go through a fast food joint, and part of that is my fault for not always checking, but it seems that Chipotle for whatever reason has a higher occurrence of messed up orders than any other fast food joint I go to. The thing that really gets me is that Chipotle seems to have gotten all the difficult parts right, that is high quality ingredients and great food in general versus the sludge you get at some other places. Where they are dropping the ball is what I see as the easy part, getting your order right. And again, if this was a once every 10 orders mistake then I wouldn't really say anything about it but in the past 4 months or so I've probably ordered from them five or six times and I'll bet every time but one something was wrong with the order. What's the deal...
Read moreI never leave negative reviews, but today when i went to the restaurant was extremely frustrating. I walked into the restaurant at 11:40am before my shift at work, there was music blasting, lights were on, and doors were unlocked. When i got halfway to the desk to order, i was told they were closed... than would be re opening at 12.... there was no closed sign, and chipotle opens at 10:45am. I looked around and saw food on the line already made. so i turned around and walked out, took a glance behind me, and the ENTIRE staff (about 6 people) were sitting outside at tables, EATING CHIPOTLE. it was clear as day they were NOT closed, the entire staff was taking a break at the same time... and listen ive been a manager, and no fast food restaurant would EVER do this. my guess is there was no manager around at the time and the employees didnt want to do anything. clesrly there had to have been a manager when they opened because no one wouldve been able to unlock the store, let alone set the register, make food, or like i said.... EVEN GET IN THE BUILDING. this was extremely inconvenient, selfish, and terrible service. i used to enjoy this chipotle as its close to my job, but...
Read moreTerrible management decisions are collapsing the Chipotle brand. How many bad experiences can customers have before turning against Chipotle? What happened at this particular store is that that close early, yet the app lets you order food and when you get there, they are closed. Employees tell you to request a refund in the app.
This is a failure at the corporate level! The app could inform a customer the time they need to be there to get their food. Simple. So much time wasted at Chipotle.
It's understandable that there are staffing issues and high online order volume during the pandemic, but instead of making meaningful improvements, upper management seems to be satisfied just refunding customers every time there's a screw up, which is about 50% if the time at this point. I don't bother with Chipotle anymore because of the messed up orders and overall bad experiences, but my partner still relies on going there even though there's drama half the...
