This has been a brutal season for my face. Extremely dry and irritated skin from the change in weather. I was recommended by my network to research First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream. I asked for a consultation at the store, and was assisted by Lindsey. This review is more for my service and experience at the store, as opposed to product and results, as I literally just purchased it today, and probably need a few weeks of a new routine to properly give my opinion on the products.
Lindsey was very knowledgeable of the brand I chose to research and the various respective products I asked her about.
I felt that Lindsey was very approachable, consultative, and personable with regard to my specific skin care concerns. She took the time to understand my current routine, and recommended a solid game plan as to how to tackle the issues, and made it simple enough that I walked away with confidence that I can follow through with that strategy at home.
She was patient with us having a baby with us in store, who was probably overdue on a nap. :)
Overall, I found the store well-stocked with product inventory, the check out process was fast and easy, and the attention to detail, as well as cross-staff cooperation was on point. Management clearly has some winners working there.
If there is anything that I can point to as a matter of criticism, it would be the way I felt toward handling testers (speaking about the area that had First Aid Beauty products....) The reason why I mention this is that it seemed that everyone uses their fingers into the testers, and that Q-Tips werenât available at the display, nor encouraged. Although I didnât try any testers out for this exact reason (bit of a germaphobe...,) the consultation and my networkâs recommendation was influence enough for me to make a purchasing decision, sans testing the product in store.

   Read moreI have never had a problem with any of the ulta I have been too, except for now. I normally visit the stores in Philadelphia or the one in cherry Hill New Jersey. I happen to be in the area and I realized, I ran out of my moisturizer. I stopped in and the first person I see is one of the employees with the white smock over her regular clothes. I said hello! And she did not reply. I asked where I could find a product and she did say. All of the other stores have ethic are professional and friendly, they immediately, stop what they are doing and they walk along with you, until you see the product. The cashier, did not ask if I wanted to utilize my rewards, I had to ask her if I had any and at the end, I said to her, Happy New Year and she didnât answer!!!!! The employers need to give the employees more training on how to treat customers. They need to realize that if it wasnât for customers, they would not have the opportunity to work with ULTA! I am very proud of myself and life that I have on the other hand, there are people that sometimes, are going through bad times and want to hear a WELCOME TO OUR STORE ONES THEY WALK IN!    Read moreI love this store. First, Iâve noticed that the Ultaâs that have more windows always feel better. This location has the front and side as windows allowing natural light in. Store is always organized. Staff are nice and helpful. The product advice is good. Sydneyâs product knowledge and enthusiasm is out of this world. She helped me with a few great products and then I went back and had questions on some products my 9 year old has been asking for. Sydney knew all about what products were safe with skin care, unnecessary along with unsafe. She is just so kind and enthusiastic. My husband and I were more than satisfied and confident in what we purchased. She also helped my husband with some of his own skin care. Sheâs great at making suggestions but not overselling you. You get what you need and sheâs so down to Earth. I seriously would pay to have an hour consultation with her to go over everything I need. Hint hint Ulta this would be a great service.
