There’s not many things I like more than a good sub sandwich for lunch or dinner. Recently, I stumbled upon heavenly hoagie in Mooresville, NC. It’s a nice little storefront in a strip center. Upon entering it’s a small little shop with 4 to 5 tables for seating and the counter to order the subs. I’ll miss visit. We got the Italian sub 12 inch. Once we got to the counter, I noticed they only serve boars head meats and cheeses, can’t get any better than this. You only have two bread choices, WHITE and whole wheat which cost $.25 extra. They slice the meat and cheeses send but not shredded. A nice little touch they do is thin slice an extra piece of meat and after all the toppings are put on then fold this over the top to keep all the toppings in and from falling out. I’ve never seen this before, but it works very well. After trying the sandwich, it was amazing. Bread was fresh meat and cheese were cut fresh and all the veggies were very fresh as well. This is definitely a little hidden gem in Mooresville and if you like sandwiches and subs, this place is...
Read moreUpdate: I was craving a hoagie from Heavenly Hoagie since they have one of the best I've tasted in this area, but that was completely ruined when we walked in and none of the employees were wearing a mask. This was heartbreaking but I refuse to support a company that doesn't care about its patrons.....Ended up going to another chain that actually takes safety precautions.
**??? My first time in Heavenly Hoagie and the guys there told me that I'd be back soon..... they were right! I have to admit that this was one of the best hoagies I've ever had. Freshly baked Italian bread with just the right amount of chewiness; Italian meats ( salami, ham and capicola) sliced to order, and a wonderful blend of sweet and spicy peppers, combined with their unique sandwich wrapping style that keeps all of the ingredients neatly tucked inside while you're eating made for an awesome sandwich! My hat off to you fellas...it was everything you said it would be. Thanks to Logan at UPS for the...
Read moreFirst time visiting after planning since their opening, needless to say I'm pretty impressed. Went with a coworker on our lunch break, found the place to be surprisingly empty at the time. The two staff members present were prompt and kind, we had our food ready within about 5 minutes. I have been binge watching Kitchen Nightmares for the last few days beforehand so I was prepared to judge the food for its freshness and preparation, I found it to be excellent. I had ordered the hot meatball and was surprised at the huge portions, not a real complaint but I have plenty leftover for dinner now. Using local bread and high quality meats absolutely justify the expense (~$15 for a 12"). Kinda wish they were open earlier for breakfast so I can pick something up before work but not a real issue for me. Perhaps if they were to get in with Uber Eats for deliveries I could see this place spreading like wildfire around Iredell and Mecklenburg. 10/10...
