We took our two teenagers and grandkids to eat after leaving lazy 5 ranch for dinner.We all entered the facility together, and was greeted by cashier after he directed mom and grandkids to bathroom. We were seated and on our way to the buffet to get food, and were immediately stopped by waitress (who acted as a manager) who told myself and son we needed a mask on. I replied our mask are at the table, but how can you tell us to put on a mask and not only you, other employees, and other customers either don't have the mask on or don't even have your mouth and nose covered? She immediately got upset and pulled her mask up and walked away. We continued to enjoy our food, until we were asked again for a copy of our receipt. I stated i threw it away in bathroom. 5-10 minutes later a "manager" approached us at table eating again asking for receipt. Again I stated I threw it away!Lets not forget its mother, father, two teenagers, and two grandkids peacefully enjoying their food WELL TRYING! I stated again I dont have receipt, and what do I need to do? Do I need to pay more or whats going on? He leaves and returns 5-10 minutes later and states he found the receipt, he pulled the cameras, and that his employee made a mistake and did not charge me for any of the kids. Really all six of us walked in the door together, he directed three of the six people to the bathroom, and this leaves 3 people at the register with him. So at the least he should of charged me for 3 people, and most of all its his mistake not mine! He stated that it was his employees fault not mine. So I asked what is the problem you have been harassing us since we walked in the door, and we were the only Blacks in the restaurant at the time. His says he wants me to pay for his employees mistake!. I immediately got my family and said we are leaving, because if it was a problem you should of said something when were seated, and before your waitress took her NICE tip. Read moreRUDE HOST. I just left the Mooresville location due to a RUDE employee. We walked in and there was no one at the front. Nowhere in sight. We have not been to a golden corral in years and didnt know the process. An old man employee came up and immediately had an attitude. From the start. I asked if we needed to seat ourselves and he rudely explained we needed to get our drinks first. The glasses looked dirty so we got plastic cups. The total was 41.00 and I remarked how expensive that was. He said it was because we got the plastic cups, and I said well the glass cups looked very dirty. He had a rude answer to that. Then my card would not swipe. I asked him if it had taken my card, and he rudely said "WHERE IS IT???" ..... At that point I had had enough and decided I would not be dining at this location. I told him how rude he was from the second we came in, I imitated his tone of voice and attitude, and he was flabbergasted. We left. It's a very bad look to have such a rude individual at the front of your store... First of all he wasn't even at his work station when we came in, and then he had a smart attitude for our entire brief interaction. Based on this and the cleanliness of those cups, I would be very unlikely to ever return.

I was a little disappointed in the service our server was Matthew and we had to keep asking Matthew to come to the table to get our empty dishes he was a nice young man he would always do it but we had to keep asking him. I didn't like that because we already know that we're gonna leave a they're Going to leave a tip of 20%.
There was a couple of times when his manager came by and he took our plates and took our dirty plates.
I was little disappointing no Vanilla Ice cream I don't like chocolate ice cream I like vanilla but my grandchildren did eat the chocolate ice cream I didn't like the dessert's selection but I did like my fried chicken and the rolls and the corn even the beef stew was good so I just wanted to say when serving you never know who's going to leave you a good tip so just be a good server.
