Read moreLocal High School football team was playing their last regular season game last week, so two parents pitched in their own money to buy all the athletes chick-fil-a sandwiches with NO pickles. Kasey (sp) the manager that was spoken to had a little bit of an attitude while ordering and wasn't the friendliest when picking up the order either. Mind you, there was no discount at all for 100 sandwiches ordered, which... Ok, that's fine. But to spend $500.00 and receive attitude... Ok, maybe he's having a bad day. We get to the school and EVERY SANDWICH has a pickle on it. Majority of the kids do not eat pickles.
Here we are a week later, so I call to see about placing an order and I get Kasey as well. I ask about a discount because they're heading to STATE playoffs, hosting AT HOME and we have another parent willing to pay because, come on, EVERYONE loves chick-fil-a. I was told "we already do a lot for MGSD, so no we don't give discounts." I said "Oh Wow, well, i'm not MGSD... we're just a group of parents wanting to provide pregame meals for an accomplishment that hasn't happened since 2013 in our home town. I then proceeded to say, and just so you know... your location put pickles on all 100 sandwiches, anything you can do about that? We specifically said "No Pickles." The response was "I'm sorry, hopefully we get it right next time."
Needless to say. They didn't get our $550.00 for this week. We decided to spend money with Ultimate Bar and Grill who prepared Grilled Chicken Sandwiches and Fries for a much better price and customer service.
Honestly, I'm just extremely disappointed in the customer service. Forget a discount. Messing up 100 sandwiches and then still willing to come back the next week and order 110 sandwiches with an attitude on top... Just not what I would expect and not how it use to be.

Read moreMy husband, mother in law and I have never had Chick-fil-A. Our daughters have out with family in the past. We decided last week was the day to see what the fuss was about. Getting in line was a little overwhelming since we've never been before and weren't clear where to go at first. We figured it out and patiently waited. While waiting we decided maybe we should download the app and quickly order so when we get up to window it's ready. We got up to the person mid ordering. She was super sweet and helped us finish it off via their app. She checked everything on her tablet and moved us along to the next person. It was drizzling that day and they were inside of these cool wearable tent. Who thinks of these things. That person confirmed what we ordered and that we paid and off to the window we went. At the window we were handed our bags of delicious smelling food and we rushed home. Once home we unpacked and got to eatting. It was really really good. I haven't had a chicken sandwich in years as I'm more of a burger girl but I would do it again. Especially since this place worked like a well oiled machine. Very quick and efficient.
