Horrible experience at this location. For past month myself and co-workers from Verizon have been coming here for lunch using a coupon from a Verizon Hum app that gives local discounts where you are. We have been regulars at this location for past two years. For the past month using this app, since it was brought to our attention at a regional Verizon meeting to let our customers know about. Never had a problem with Subway honoring the coupons until today. They took screen shots called the franchise owner and my order for 5 Verizon employees was denied, even told they did not know about it and where going to call corporate and have it removed, yet would not honor it for these transactions. Coupons clearly state buy one get one and one states free dozen cookies with sub or wrap platter. We will continue to let our our staff know that it is not honored as well as customers that have the app. Poor customer service not honoring printed or digital coupons that also have your store location on it with no expiration date. Do not recommend this location! I was told they have a new manager and the old one should not of honored the coupons the past months. Franchises co-op marketing usually and most big names always honor coupons with their store location on them.... be weary of...
Read moreThe man Robert who works at the morehead city store is very rude and doesn't know how to make subs or train people. Last week I ordered on line and it was wrong. Called back and Robert answered with hostility and said come back I will remake I was unable to come right back. So he said come back next day. So we did. He remade them. Which brings us to today. Ordered online again. Orders extra meat and barely got any meat at all on a club. Suppose to be 3 types of meat. Along with the toppings which were scares too. But when I went back to store. While explaining myself to other associate Robert was very rude. Fussing that I got what I ordered and didn't see anything wrong without even checking the sub first. Then proceeded to say I. Should have called them in. But yet they were to busy to pick up the phone. Then told me to talk to a manager in the morning. Refused to give me the number and told me to figure it out. Read moreEvery week I go to this Subway for lunch and their lettuce tomato and cucumbers often have freezer burn. They look like they are really old. You can see the lettuce in the metal container and it looks unappetizing, I saw the employee pick up spinach and put it on the lady in front on me sub and it was slimy and wet like when spinach goes bad. There were ice crystals on the tomatoes and cucumbers. There's nothing great about biting into your sandwich and tasting fridge ice on a cucumber. The lettuce looked so bad that I just ended up getting a chicken and cheese sandwich, didn't want any of the vegetables. Also the server Paul didn't tuck anything that was on my sub in well all my dressing was sloppily all over the wrapper and it was just a mess. Pretty much the dressing was on top of the bread and not inside. I think whoever runs this subway needs to do some more training and pay attention to the freshness of the ingredients.
