I was surprised to find Vietnamese food in Morgan Hill, while I didn’t expect it to be a snackshask style order at window style service with a small patio next to the CalTrain tracks and stop, but we still gave it a shot….with the exception of them not having forks, the salad and noodle dishes were tasty. Plenty of food for a few bucks too. I ordered the tofu, but should’ve ordered the pork…but it was good. Their honey lemonade was refreshing too. For a quick bite, this place was fun. Nice very straight forward service.

Mom & Pop Vietnamese eatery. Best description is it's a fast casual take-out place. There are no wait staff, just a window to place your order. There's a covered area with outdoor tables in front. Very small area, limited number of tables. Recommend to call ahead and place your order so you don't have to wait. Known for their bahn mi sandwiches and Vietnamese coffee ☕ Lemon grass pork and crispy pork over rice is yummy 😋

I’m down in the South Valley twice a week for work. At least once a week, I have lunch from Jonty’s. I usually call in my order and it’s always ready on time. The owners are friendly and they make the most delicious banh mi and noodle bowls. I’ve practically tried them all. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of this well kept Morgan Hill secret 🤤🤤🤤

I think it's about time I wrote a review for this place, considering the fact that I've been coming here as a regular customer, ever since I discovered this joint a few months ago.

Jonty's is not your typical Vietnamese restaurant nor a sketchy hole-in-the-wall mom and pop shop. Surprisingly, it's a great spot to grab tasty banh mi sandwiches and rice plates on a warm or scorching hot summer day sipping on Vietnamese iced tea!!

John and his wife, who operate this little humble-looking eatery, serve banh mi sandwiches, rice plates and salads situated next to the Morgan Hill Caltrain stop. A great couple, with happy attitudes and strong teamwork, I've been coming back to their place ordering my favorite items off of their short yet toothsome menu!

Best things to order IMO:

Anchovy steak banh mi take note: order it with an egg! You can thank me later! topped with a fried egg (cooked anyway you like)

Pork belly banh mi! That pork belly seasoned and fried to perfection, along with a fried egg? Oh yeah baby! I'm salivating over it!

Lemongrass chicken banh mi? Light yet delicious, so it's not too heavy for your tummy.

Any choice of meat or tofu, fried egg with rice and a side salad....a good amount of food packed into a small container? Also a winner in my book! Spring rolls are filling and the fried egg rolls are just okay, but I wouldn't skip it. Just try it for once or order it if you are slightly hungry with not a big appetite.

If you happen to live in the area, check it out! You don't want to miss it. If you are just waiting at Caltrain, order something to go! If you are driving up North or South, make this place as your go-to stop. Trust me. You would want to come back.

Will I return? Well as a regular customer, the owners who know me by name, and always greet me with a smile and converse with me? I think that says...

Food: 5 Decor: 3 Service: 4

I've already been here twice this week, and I'm sure I'll be coming here a lot more over the next few months.

Mama's Egg Rolls (3) with pork, served with "nuoc mam" dipping sauce, 4.5 ~Pretty good. Egg rolls were a bit small, but they came out piping hot, and the dipping sauce complemented well.

Pork Belly banh mi, 4.5 ~Delicious. Pork belly was prepared nicely, although a bit too fatty, and I really enjoyed the crunchy pieces of skin on top. Veg was pickled nicely, and the bread was crispy.

Spring Rolls (2) with Shrimp & Pork or Tofu, wrapped with lettuce & rice noodles in rice paper, Served with peanut sauce, 4.5 ~Really good. All the ingredients tasted fresh, and the peanut sauce was nice.

Service is pickup from counter, and the wait was about 10-15min after ordering. So far, easily my favorite restaurant in...

The food here is REALLY good but the horrible service from the owner shocked me. I ordered 100$ worth of food for me and my family, drove 15 minutes back home to realize they missed one order of ours. I called in to talk to the owner and he implied I was lying and that there was no way we were missing an order. I explained to him I checked multiple times and would like to come by and pick up the missing order. I basically had to pressure him to not charge me… while he again insinuated I was trying to steal from him. I think if I can spend 100$ on food, I don’t need to lie and steal from you sir. It really shocked me and it made me so uncomfortable. When I got there they unceremoniously handed me my missed entree with a sneer. Disappointing. Haven’t gone back since. Hopefully others have a...
