Moon's Kitchen — Restaurant in Morgan Hill

I lelf a review on this business almost a year ago. It was a mistake that I didn't notice untill recently and it was negative, It was not ment for this restaurant it was ment for China Palace another restaurant in town that has been in the community for a very long time that has gone downhill, but this is not about them. So I want to apologize, and leave a review for this restaurant that it deserves. This restaurant has been a staple in Morgan Hill for as long as I can remember. I have lived in morgan hill since nineteen eighty nine. Im a bit of an O.G. The food here is delicious and consistent. I had not been here in a few years but once I realized that I left the sense deleted negative review. I had to come and show my support, and it is just as I remember, wonderful. Wonderful food and wonderful service. My parents have been come here for there for their anniversarys for going on 35 years, partly because it's tradition, but also because they serve a unique menu of Japanese inspired cuisine with an American twist. My grandparents alos used to also frequent offend. So if you haven't tried moon's kitchen, or if you just haven't been in a while you really should make a vist...

Very rude people at this establishment, prices are high, ordered 2 dinners to go, was supposed to get white rice, salad and spicy chicken with no veggies, instead got spicy bbq chicken , white rice, and no salad on the first dinner, second dinner got the same with salad. Also ordered 2 prawns. Ask for a cup of water, the waitress said she could only give me one cup of water, there was 2 of us, no utensils, got into it with the waitress because I had to ask for another cup of water, utensils, hot mustard, for the 2 prawns i ordered barely any meat in them. Very Very Very disappointed in this establishment. Needless to say I asked for the manager and he got in my face,, I really thought we were going to throws blows.. I will never go here again. This place is a rip off. The impression I got is they didn't care about the customer only the revenue they bring in, so...

For a place that I've heard a lot about I have to say this is one that I will not be returning to. Although the staff was friendly and the place was clean. I did not enjoy their food nor did I enjoy the price. I went out and had two Bento boxes with my mother. The meal was nothing short of ordinary. Nothing jumped out nothing tasted bad enough to note about. It was subpare. It's just one of those places where you eat and you ask yourself why you didn't go elsewhere but oh well.

Anyways although the food didnt stand out. What did was a bill of $48.70 for two people ordering their "lunch special". For a price like that you can go to Ichiban here in Morgan Hill and get more bang for your buck and also food that goes above and beyond. I'd even go as far as to say you should drive to Gilroy and eat at Ninja...
