Satisfactory food, but overpriced and basic facility.

Loud - even though there were few people dining there on a Friday night.

Basic room - somewhat industrial vibe, but basic tables and chairs (see photos). On the river walk, nice, but the water view is blocked by Table 9 restaurant across the pathway.

Limited menu. Oh, note that the best menu for selection and prices posted out front is not available for dinner -- it's actually the lunch menu (not apparent)

Low value (food vs price) - $24 for six average ravioli. No sides. Nothing. Not even any bread. Yup, that was an entre, not an appetizer.

Staff -- super! Friendly and accommodating. In particular, Server Luna was professional and was the best aspect of the experience at 48 Donley.

I’ve visited 48 Donley twice now, and I felt it was time to leave a review. While the wait for food can be a bit long, it’s always worth it—this place is truly a hidden gem in Morgantown! I do hope they’re able to bring on more kitchen staff in the future to help reduce wait times.

The staff has consistently been wonderful: welcoming, knowledgeable, and kind. There’s very little to complain about, though one issue stood out—people vaping at the bar. I understand it’s a college town, but I believe the staff should address this as it happens instead of watching it occur, as it destracted from our, as well as others I’m sure, overall experience and tainted the ambiance.

Adjust your expectations This location was fantastic! However, the food portions and wine pours were small, and the service was middling. I would say that this experience was not inherently poor, but did not meet the price point of the menu items. Bread, more attentive service, and faster cook times would make all the difference. We also saw the host skateboarding on the rail trail as we were waiting on our drinks. The menu is fairly limited (usually a pro in my book), but the pairings were a touch odd and execution even stranger.
