Surreal Creamery Morristown — Restaurant in Morristown

We finally made it to the newly opened Surreal Creamery in Morristown NJ and we loved it. From the friendly staff, to the yummilicious selections from the menu to the cosy yet vibrant setting( courtesy the artwork on display), everything was warm, inviting and a perfect spot to hang out with family and friends. We highly recommend this neighborhood joint when the sweet cravings hit you. We recommend the Matcha flotea which had the perfect blend of taro and matcha teas and ice creams. The Lychee and Passion fruit bubble teas with jelly and popping boba’s were refreshing and balanced in sweetness and flavor. The surprise for us was the Vietnamese coffee with choice of 4 toppings , which was delicious and perfect for the cold weather. We will be back soon to try the mason jar samplers and the unique tea and ice...

When Surreal opened up, it was THE PLACE to go. And while the flavors are great, it has gone downhill very quickly.

The music has gone from a nice chill vibe at a decent volume, to a level where we have to shout at each other to have a conversation.

But the killer for me is that the last 3 times I've been here, there has an overwhelming sewage-like stench. The first time I smelled it, I figured it was an isolated incident.... thinking someone had a bad bathroom episode. But then there was a second time (4/17)...and a third (5/3). Sorry... it's really difficult for me to enjoy a sweet treat when I'm bombarded with a strong septic odor. In fact, 3 customers walked in...and walked right out commenting on the stench.

Unless they solve the sewage situation, I'll be going...

I recently visited an ice cream shop and had a fantastic experience, thanks to the excellent customer service provided by David and Molly. From the moment I walked in, they were both friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.

David was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the menu and suggesting different toppings that would go well with my choice. Molly, on the other hand, was quick and efficient in preparing my order. I decided on a small vanilla cup with Fruity Pebbles, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination was perfect, and the ice cream was creamy and flavorful.

Overall, the service was top-notch, and David and Molly made my visit truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this ice cream shop to anyone looking for great treats and outstanding...
