Abe’s Wood-Fired Pizza — Restaurant in Morro Bay

I wish I could give Abe and Marie a million stars - they are the loveliest, warmest, and funnest people in Morro Bay. Their pizza is the best in the area too, cooked by the big man Abe himself, in a wood fired oven. It was a taste of home (Europe) in a country which favours the deep dish… this is how pizza is really made. Straight from Abes Napolitana skills.

They took me in after a long drive and made sure I was fed, happy, and safe before the next leg of my journey.

How lucky are we to have wood fired pizza that’s THIS GOOD right here in Morro Bay?! Abe is a Napoletana-style dough master and all ingredients are fresh as can be. He and Marie are the most lovely, warm hosts and visiting them is a treat in itself.
