UPDATE: I have no idea what is going on with The Human Bean, coffee shop, in Morro Bay, CA. Over the last few weeks the quality of their service and the quality of their coffee products have decreased significantly. I order a hot, 16oz, oat milk latte, add a double shot. That is supposed to be seriously strong coffee. Unfortunately, this has not been the case the last three times I have visited. Today, I attempted to address the issue again. Only to be asked if there was anything else I wanted. No confirmation that they would endure the quality of the product. When the server handed the coffee to me she did so without putting a temperature sleeve on it. I went to reach for it and had to put it down quickly because it was burning my hand. I asked for a sleeve and she said, "Oh, you need a sleeve?" This comment made me feel wasteful and not being concerned about the environment. However, I had to remind myself, I am 72 years old, my skin is thinning, and better to protect myself than end up dumping hot coffee on myself. The attitude, and service, and the quality of service is extremely disappointing in such a short period of time being opened up, here, in Morro Bay. I will not be returning to this location. Even though I have my third reward coming (yes that is how often I visit). Instead I will take my business back to Coastal Peaks. I have frequented Coastal Peaks for over 2 years and gave NEVER had the issues I have had at The Human Bean.
FIRST IMPRESSION DID NOT HOLD OVER THE TEST OF TIME: Super addition to Morro Bay's coffee establishments. Great for all of us that head out to work to have a drive thru to get coffee on our way out.
The coffee is great. The service is superb. Makes my day to head stopping by The Human Bean. And - love their discount scan code...
Read moreI was overcharged yesterday by $.75 because the cashier misunderstood me. When I clarified at the window I still had to pay for her mistake and she didn't take responsibility. Great coffee and service is pretty good. Just keep a close eye on what they charge you so you don't get scammed like myself

The drink we ordered was how we ordered it, as we clarified at the register in time that it didn't need to be remade, but were charged $.75 because of the cashiers mistake. I said no foam and we were charged for cold foam, hence my verbage of scammed. I understand it's highly likely that is was a mistake that the cashier thought they would get away with. You’ve got to try the mexi mocha blended with whipped cream…. One of the best things I’ve ever tasted!!! Apparently Mr. Squirrel was happy too. Lol Look at him drinking it with his eyes closed… you can’t get mad at that xD
