Leather Shop — Local services in Morro Bay

Fantastic little leather shop chock full of supplies and wonderful goods for sale. The owner was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. He answered all of my questions and made me feel very welcome, even as a tourist in the area and as an amateur leather worker with a lot to learn still. The selection may not be as large as a big store like the Tandy Leather in my local area, but it makes up for that in knowledge and unique offerings like the bins full of random buckles and other hardware at extreme discounts. It's so much fun to rummage through those on the hunt for special finds. Add to all of that the bonus store puppo and the heavenly smell of leather that envelopes you as soon as you set foot in the store, and you've got a shop you could easily lose yourself in for a long time! I'm so impressed with Finn's work. I was asked to design a leather bracelet with an inherited and very meaningful gold coin as the center piece and gold custom made horse heads on the side. The hardest part for me was finding a leather collaborator. I tried with a collaborator across the country that made beautiful pieces, but we weren't communicating correctly and the prototypes weren't what I really wanted. Then my client went to Finn's shop and realized "he's the guy." And indeed Finn is "the guy." The bracelet in leather he created was exactly right for my client. This guy made it happen I could take my surfboard back to germany, because I painted my self made board almost fully at the top and completely on the bottom , some glasers weren't really ready or able to glas it and I had not much time left at that point to get it done, before I had to go back to Germany, which was another reason why the previous glasers couldn't make it, he could!!, and appreciate it a lot.Good quality despite all the paint on the foam and fast done, he even prioritized my board to get it done in time .Thanks Corry you...
