So I've been meaning to leave a review for this Morro Bay BK restaurant because the quality has gone down so much over the last 5 years.
For starters, the food just isn't up to par these days. I use the coupons a lot here for the $4 burger meals. The "value menu" buns are absolutely NOT fresh.
The onion rings taste old, are hard as rocks, and flat out disgusting. The fries have a musty smell to them these days as well. The value spicy chicken sandwich is also nasty, as the chicken patty's are usually hard and old tasting too. I'm so curious what the kitchen appliances look like in there and how the food is cooked/ stored. 🤮
I recently traveled to the BK in San Luis Obispo to compare the two. (The SLO BK just re-opened to the public not too long ago after a complete revamp.) Needless to say, I'll be getting my value chicken sandwiches and rodeo cheese burgers at the SLO location from now on.
At this point, I believe this Burger King needs new equipment ASAP or someone working there that knows a thing or two about serving FRESH food to their customers. I'm super disappointed by the many times I've come here, spent my money, and have gotten straight up nasty old food. Like as if my order was an old order, that they had previously messed up on, and took out of the trash to sell me. Just nasty. If the quality of food here was better, I'd be here way more than the McDonald's across the street. As BK has more affordable options in my opinion.
And before I end this review, I must conclude that when you order anything with cheese on it, make sure to look at your order before you leave. Because a lot of the times the cheese will be missing.

Read moreI would just like to say on behalf of Burger King, if someone tells you about a party, they are just trying to make conversation. They are absolutely NOT hitting on you. Nor do we chose a preference with gender. All men and women have the right to hear about our local colleges and their events. The customer in question was genuinely just in a bad mood and if the missing mozzarella sticks had been addressed, we would have been all to happy to replace them. Here at Burger King, we do our best to prepare our food to our customers' liking and are happy to make/remake/replace any items that do not meet the individual standard of our consumers. Please just let us know, and we will do our best to fix it. We are always here to serve!!!🍔

Read moreOrdered a King Jr meal. The menu board says the meal includes an entrée, side, drink, and treat or toy. I ordered the treat and the employee said there would be an uncharge for the treat. Only when I was handed the receipt did I see it was an extra $1.30. When I asked the employee why there was even a surcharge when the menu clearly states the entrée, side, drink, and treat/toy are included in every King Jr meal, he stated that he didn't know why, but that's the way it is.
It's unacceptable to contract the pricing on the menu, much less to have employees respond with "I don't know."
Correct the menu to reflect accurate pricing and educate your staff on how to properly answer...
