🌮 🌮 If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican dining experience, El Guero is the place to be! From the moment you walk in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. We decided to try the torta and birria tacos, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The torta was perfectly toasted, loaded with fresh ingredients, and had just the right amount of spice. šŸ˜‹ The flavors were bold and authentic, making each bite a delicious adventure. Now, onto the birria tacos! These were pure magic. The meat was tender and packed with flavor, served with a side of rich consomĆ© that added an extra layer of deliciousness when you dipped the tacos. The freshness of the toppings complemented the tacos perfectly! Overall, El Güero exceeded our expectations. 🌟 Whether you're a seasoned fan of Mexican cuisine or trying it for the first time, you’ll leave with a happy belly and a smile on your face. Highly recommended! Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu! šŸŽ‰

Finally open! I’ve been curious for a while, so I stopped in for some dinner to-go — here’s my take: To keep it short and sweet: great tacos! The flavor’s solid, the asada isn’t grisly or overly fatty, and it’s cooked just right. The cilantro and onions taste fresh — not like they’ve been sitting out all day. Rice and beans? Exactly how they should be. And the pickled carrots are a nice extra touch. The nachos? Also good — no complaints there. Now, the burrito… not my favorite. Why? Honestly, it’s the tortilla. Feels like there’s too much of it, and something about it throws it off for me. Kind of surprising, since I usually prefer burritos over tacos — most places don’t get tacos right. Lol. That said, I’ll be giving it another shot tonight just to be sure. Overall: super friendly service, clean spot, good vibe — and the tacos are definitely a win. It’s become a go-to for me while I’m in town!

What a great experience since entering was greeted by the staff and owner. My wife and I were not sure on the food and drink. So the owner suggested what would be a great choice. My wife and I were not sure on what to drink. At the front counter natural made fruit drinks caught our eye but we were not sure which one, the staff suggested a sample of cucumber and lemon and of watermelon both were amazing and made of fresh ingredients not powder. The food was incredible and drinks. The restaurant was clean and very modern design. How the food is served is very well served. The owner and staff are very service oriented. The staff and owners very positive attitude and made you feel welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Morro Bay California.

I ordered the taco plate consisting of carne asada, birria and pastor, along with rice and refried beans. The portions were more than adequate. First of all the quality of the corn tortillas was high because they are made in-house. All three meats were meticulously prepared in the traditional manner of street food. The flavor of each meat was exquisite and very tasteful with the additions of cilantro, onions, carrots, a chile and a mild sauce. The rice and beans were prepared in a legitimate manner of home-made; definitely not out of a can. If you are a vegetarian, there are ample options for you. They will be producing their own agave spirits once their distillery is up and running. As a local of Morro Bay, it was worth the wait for this establishment to open up. The service was friendly and professional, and they were more than happy to answer any questions that I had, especially questions of which region of Mexico had influenced their cooking. Whether you are a visiting tourist or a Morro Bay resident, I highly recommend patronizing this local business. You will not be...
