When I think of Wendy’s, I think of good natured, down home, second-cousin-loving kind of faces. I think of a place that smells like the inside of a shoe cubby for hormonal teenage boys. A homely place, where the parking lot has scattered Four Loco cans and colorful crystal meth dust drifting across the low-hanging morning fog. This place met my expectations, and delivered even more! We arrived at 9:09 AM on a cool Sunday morning, ready for the relief we knew only a Wendy’s could give us. We exited our car and scampered our way over pothole puddles like young spring deer, ready to piss in the comfort of a bathroom we knew had a history of probably at least two conceptions of human life.
To our surprise, nay, our terrifying shock, despite the open time for the lobby on Sunday being 9:00 AM, the lobby was locked. With shaking hands and baited breath, we knocked on the windows, hoping to alert the good workers that we, their family by both God and Wendy, needed to piss. We were IGNORED, TURNED OUT, OVERLOOKED, AND BETRAYED. No one took notice to the two orphan girls begging for a subpar toilet, hoping for a helping hand. Heads hung low as we walked in shame across the road to Taco Bell - an establishment for the ungodly and unWendy.
I must say, I do not judge all Wendy’s for this. I know each Wendy is unique, like a red-headed snowflake, or a urine-stained fingerprint, but this one, this PARTICULAR Wendy…. has forsaken the tenets of man and God. We will not be visiting this imposter again. She holds the mark of Beelzebub, a Wendy with red hair and red horns, a Wendy who does not take care of her patrons. I would feel less betrayed if my own mother had stabbed me in the back. I shed a tear for the soul of this Wendy.
The chicken biscuit was pretty good though,...

First the doors were locked at 3 in the afternoon and there were people inside getting orders. When I was let in a worker stated with a bad attitude that there was a reason the doors were locked and not to let anyone in anymore. At 3 in the afternoon! So I ordered my food and went to wait and nearly slipped on the wet floor. When they called for me, another worker who was polite handed me my food and my chocolate frosty that I had ordered a large, but got what looked like a medium sized one. Thinking that they had misheard me and politely reminded them I ordered a large. They told me that it was a large. That the size of the frosty cups changed. I found it strange but since I hadn’t been to a Wendy’s in months I decided not to argue. Another costumer was just as confused as me. In fact all the costumers inside were confused and irritated about everything going on like the locked doors. I decided to leave and eat out quietly and peacefully and try to enjoy what I have but for everyone: I am thoroughly disappointed at what I have seen here, especially as a place that hold childhood memories for me. While the food was delicious and I ate it all, the service towards costumers need extreme improvement. I would rate it higher but I believe that this needs to addressed and and fixed ASAP. I hope if I do ever return (if I do at all) that things have improved.
Photo: does that look like a large to you? And has Wendy’s changed cup sizes...
Read moreThis is probably the worst Wendy's I've ever attended. It's not the food that is bad. It's the typical Wendy's flavor, which I've always loved. It's the service and reliability. Everytime I go to this Wendy's in the evening, they claim that their credit card machine is down and they're only accepting exact change in cash. However, if you go during the day their credit card machine works. It just seems like they don't want to serve the majority of individuals that have credit cards. It's honestly a bummer. Not only do they not accept credit cards in the evening, but they have bad attitudes and treat customers like an inconvenience in the evening. Additionally, they have a system in the DT that they make you wait at the pay window until someone calls you to the pick up window, then you can drive to pick up your food. As a result, they're extremely slow cause they're making cars wait at the pay window until food is ready, then you can move to the pick up window. Talk about cheating their drive thru wait times. So, they don't want to take credit cards in the evening, they're rude, AND they move slow cause they're trying to hit a certain time on their DT timer in an extremely inefficient way. Honestly, they suck. They can be better if they try but this is what they're choosing. I hope the manager of this location can coach their employees in the evening, unless this is a direct result of the manager then I hope corporate fixes this cause it will impact their business in a location that local business growth is crucial to help propel the...
