To put this into perspective, I grew up in Mount Airy but I live in WV. I drive two hours to come to here, usually only getting to for special occasions (birthday, mothers day, etc.) The food is incredible, the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend the calzone and strombolis. A large (calzone pictured) of either will feed several people, the regular would feed two. Five stars, go, try it, you won't regret it.

Located in a strip mall by a food lion so plenty of parking. Good size place was just a couple people there when I went. Seat yourself and the waitress came right over. Great service friendly helpful staff. Had a Large house salad and meatball sub. Salad and dressing was average. Meatballs and sauce were good but roll was just average. Would try again if in the area.

Excellent Italian restaurant!! Super service. Wide variety of pastas, pizza, calzones, salad, breads, etc. I had a sample of 3 all were so delicious! My husband had the eggplant and it was huge! So we both took boxes home for another meal. We will certainly revisit this establishment on our return visits to Mt. Airy!

Even though my previous review was 5 stars, I have updated it based on my order this past week. Since it was stromboli,I couldn't check it before I took the order home. I did look inside the box and verified it was stromboli. However, once I split it between myself and my husband, I realized it wasn't correct but I kept thinking that maybe I would find peppers and onions deeper inside. But sadly, they weren't even in the stromboli, like I ordered. Plus I also requested no salami because we both do not like it. Because it had pepperoni, salami and ham, it was just so thick without the peppers and onions to make it taste better. I called about the order being incorrect. She said to bring it back and they would fix another one, to which I said that it was too far plus would take too much time to do that, plus I had ate half of mine. She said she would talk to manager and was hanging up when I said "Don't you need my name and phone number?" She took my name and number. I have waited for a call from the manager that I have never received to make up for the incorrect order. I normally just chalk it up and move on but things like this are happening far too often these days and I feel like customers need to be made aware that they need to check their order before leaving, even if that means splitting open the stromboli right there at the check out counter! Businesses need to understand things like this can really hurt their bottom line since I will be skeptical to go back for a little while! When I spend money eating out, is it too much to ask for my order...

We had a great experience on March 25,2023. This was a first time at the restaurant and it was pretty busy when we got there we didn't have a long wait and from being greeted at the front with a woman hostess and her pleasant attitude guiding us to a booth in the back of restaurant .She then went out of her way to get all of our drinks and recommendations on meals and appetizers showed she was knowledgeable about the food in the restaurant. We got our drinks brought by her and shortly after we had our waitress come take our order. It made me see how well everyone was working together and how busy it was that night. It made our night that the hostess was so busy that she even came to check on us and how we liked our food. At one point my husband made the comment I kinda wish she was our waitress. I laughed and said me too. I have never seen a person as sweet ,nice, hardworking, and more I wish we could if tipped her because she ran the front sitting guests to helping everyone with something. If I was her supervisor I would be appreciative and allow her to do more. The food and service was superior from start to finish. Thank you to the hostess whom I don't know her name but I really appreciate everything she did. She went above and beyond her job, more than the waitress...

Let me lead off by saying the wait staff was very attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is open and bright and family friendly.

We ate there yesterday, just once, and sampled the lasagne, ravioli, stuffed shells and bruschetta. After a hard day of hiking at Hanging Rock State Park, we were both too tired to object to anything reasonable served to us. The food was reasonable, but not as well prepared as I'd expect for an Italian restaurant.

The bruchetta was very fresh and you could taste the raw bits of garlic. No real complaint there. But it stood in contrast to the marinara sauce, which looked and tasted as if it had come straight out of a generic can of Food Lion tomato sauce. There was no hint of the garlic, basil, oregano, fennel, thyme or Italian parsley that I'd expect in a dish prepared by an Italian cook. Not even the dried stuff.

The restaurant was half empty on a Friday night. I'd expect that if they put just a little effort into preparing a red sauce with some appropriate spices, and maybe shrink the menu a little bit to focus more on fewer well-prepared dishes and pizza, they could...
