After waiting patiently behind three other couples I decided to place my order via the app as carry out. 12 mins passed and still nothing from the staff at o assist or even great the three families in front of me in line. A few mins later I spoke up for the group and asked for the manager. A few moments later he approached the counter nice and calm. I asked is he had any plan to assist anyone in the dining room as some have been standing there for 30plus minutes. He told me that they had to focus on door dash and drive thru and that he would try to get to the people in the dining room as soon as he could. At this point 5 More minutes pass and two families left as his answer showed them that they and their families meant nothing to him or the business. The others thanked me for speaking up as I finally got my order and was leaving as they just then started taking orders at the counter.
I am in retail myself (nearly 30 years) and if the company I worked for changed our focus from toward facing customer service to all digital and in this case drive thru focused and ignoring paying customers at the counter. I would leave. I can honestly say if this is how Wendy’s is going to focus on customers and treat customers going foward, you can count this customer out. I will try other Wendy’s in the market and as I travel for work to test the waters and see how they treat customers at the counter. If I see that it is truly the focus I will take my business elsewhere and take my opinions to other online social media as well.

Read moreArrived at 7:20pm on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025. Drive thru was crowded so I decided to go inside to order. Went in and there were a few people in front of me in line. They were helped then the older couple in front of me got to the register. They waited waited waited and after 15 min of waiting they left. So I stood there another couple of minutes and still no one even acknowledged that anyone was waiting to place an order. By now there are like 8-9 people behind me in line. I decided to go out and get in my vehicle and try the drive through, I wait my turn, order, and when I get to the window I pay and ask the lady if I could speak with the manager and he comes over to the window and I said just some friendly advice, might want to lock the dining room if you aren’t going to take any orders in there, no one took an order inside for over 15 minutes. And he said we are doing the best we can with what staff we have, I said I completely understand that but you could close the dining room so you don’t waste the customers time. He said well you can go online and fill out an application and come help us if you want and I said no, I’m good I run my own business and have my own problems to deal with and he pushed me my food and walked off. Read moreThis Wendy's always has great food and friendly service. During the middle of the day (lunchtime) or evening (dinner time) they are on top of their game never had an issue with my order being incorrect, missing items or undercooked food. Which is a true accomplishment with fast food anymore because people just don't care.
Now with that being said I would like to state that night time food quality, service & made incorrectly or missing items AKA Burgers, Chicken Sandwiches, cold hard fries, etc ... are almost always a definitely going to happen if you chose there late night option (I think they are open til 12 or 1) This has happened to me multiple times (EVERYTIME we have eaten there after 9pm) EXAMPLE I order a Triple cheeseburger with ketchup only and it ends up always having the works on it. My husband won't eat this and that's a wasted $7 or $8 bucks. Because by the time we get home to eat it's to late to call back and if you've ever tried to complain the following day about a problem. It's always "Well if you had called us yesterday we could do something about this" 😉.
I think it's unfair to rate an entire restaurant based on a handful of incompetent, self entitled employees. Who without a doubt obviously don't value there job security. I gave them 4 stars based solely on the hours 10:30am-9pm. No stars...
