Belle Station Restaurant, located in the beautiful Belle Hall of Mount Pleasant, is a truly delightful and charming dining destination. The amalgamation of the relaxed atmosphere, an eclectic array of dishes, and fantastic drink offerings makes Belle Station a go-to spot for both locals and visitors.
Immediately striking about Belle Station is its expansive outdoor patio and bar, providing a casual yet vibrant setting to enjoy good food, great drinks, and stellar company. This spacious oasis, paired with their indoor bar and seating area, makes Belle Station a perfect spot regardless of the weather.
The food is as spectacular as the setting. The Lobster Roll here is an undeniable highlight, perhaps one of the best you could find anywhere. Generous chunks of fresh, succulent lobster are nestled into a perfectly toasted bun, creating a symphony of taste and texture that sings the praises of seafood done right.
Accompanying the main offerings is a delectable variety of sides, with their gourmet mac and cheese deserving a particular mention. Creamy, cheesy, and wonderfully satisfying, it's the kind of side dish that could easily stand on its own.
If you're looking for a weekend treat, don't miss their all-day $4 mimosas on the weekends. It's a delightfully affordable touch of indulgence. If beer is more your style, their impressive selection of local and craft beers, both on draft and in cans and bottles, caters to all beer aficionados.
One can't overlook the restaurant's excellent provision for sports enthusiasts - numerous TV's make it a great place to catch a game, adding an enjoyable background buzz to the dining experience.
The brunch at Belle Station is a standout experience. With a diverse menu that caters to a variety of palates and dietary preferences, it’s the perfect way to kickstart a leisurely weekend morning or afternoon.
In conclusion, whether you're seeking a relaxed dining experience, a vibrant bar scene, or a delightful brunch, Belle Station Restaurant is a destination that deserves a spot on everyone's culinary map. With its fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere, and impressive beverage selection, it certainly earns a full...
Read moreMy wife and I came to Belle Station to celebrate our anniversary with a good meal and a little karaoke. We were quickly seated, and our server took our drink orders while we looked over the menu. When he brought the drinks to us, my wife asked for straws, and he said he would bring them to us after taking our order. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I decided that it would be quicker for me to walk to the bar and get our straws than to continue to wait, so I did just that. About 5 minutes later, the server returns with our appetizer and finally brings straws with him.
We ordered the crab dip for our appetizer, and it came out burned on top, but after removing that layer, it wasn't bad. The pita chips were hit or miss, as the texture of them was a mixture of stale and just right. I'm not sure if they were cooked fresh in-house or if they were out of a bag.
We got our entrees, and they weren't much better. My wife ordered the fried seafood platter, and everything was bland at best. The french fries were the only things that seemed to have been seasoned, and my wife felt that the fish could have been cooked a little longer.
I ordered the lobster and shrimp risotto, and that wasn't good either. The risotto was crunchy as if it was undercooked, and it had a funny, sour taste, which could have been from the tomatoes. The lobster and shrimp were alright, and the only thing that I could really eat from my entrée.
The saving grace of the evening was the karaoke host. DJ Kevin Breeze made us feel welcome and showed lots of patience as there were children running around in the bar area. I'm all for kids karaoke, but I don’t think that 9PM in a bar is the best place or time for it. I would recommend that the kids have a designated time for karaoke (7-9PM) or let the kids have their own karaoke outside on the patio.
Overall, the restaurant looks great, and we wish them nothing but success...
Read moreDO NOT GO WITH YOUR CHILDREN!! Under no circumstance (unless your child is a horrible bully with no manners) do I recommend you going to this place with your children. We have been coming to Belle Station for months because of the atmosphere adaptation to children. My daughter has loved coming here and having the ability to walk around and play independently with our supervision. Tonight we made the 30 minute drive to have dinner with a party of 10. Immediately upon entering there was an entire drama of a situation about outdoor seating to which I made a point to say that we were still waiting on our party and had no problem waiting around outside for a table. They, in turn, put us at 6 Adirondack chairs (clearly doesn’t seat 10) and threw menus onto an outdoor table. There were probably 10 children, overaged for the size of the small jump castle, pulling it over, deflating it, knocking everyone down, wrestling. Several other children were breaking the slide. The roughest environment I have ever witnessed for children to be in. I went to the manager and told her what I was experiencing, as my child is 2 and wanted to play as well. She told me there was nothing that she could do because she wasn’t a “babysitter”. I understood she didn’t have time to supervise the outdoor area and I also made it aware that I know it’s the parents’ jobs to control their children. UNTIL one mom helped me keep the roughness at bay which allowed my daughter to jump for a few minutes until another child came into the jump castle and pushed her down, hit her on the head, and kicked her in throat. WALKING LAW SUIT OF A RESTAURANT. Extremely unprofessional and vile in attitude. We will...
