Some things were good and some things were so-so. My wife and I wanted shrimp and flounder. She wanted the fried shrimp basket. You have a choice of small basket and large basket. We thought that meant small basket was fewer shrimp than large basket. Turns out it means small shrimp or larger shrimp. She got the small basket and I got the combo flounder and shrimp…thus, I got the larger shrimp and she got popcorn shrimp. Now, both shrimp was good and the larger shrimp was better. I say larger, as in larger than the small shrimp but not much larger. Large was tails on. The flounder was good, not great. Hush puppies were good. Fries was basic crinkle cut. Prices for these meals was ok, maybe a little high ($15 for small shrimp basket). There was nobody in the place at 6:30 on a Saturday night. That is concerning for the long term. Customer Advisory: Concerns with Product Quality Recently, I visited a local restaurant and ordered the small 1/2 lb shrimp basket, crab cakes, and hush puppies. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. The shrimp portion was noticeably less than a third of what was advertised. Additionally, while the description indicated two crab cakes, I only received one, and it had a fishy taste. This was delicious!! I am not huge seafood fan but my dad and I passed by and saw that they had recently opened and wanted to stop by and let me just say best decision!! I got the fried grouper basket and my dad got the steamed red snapper basket and they were both amazing. We also have plenty of leftovers to enjoy later.
