Delicious gyros! Traditional Greek recipes and ingredients. No lamb- and they took the time to explain why. In Greece lamb gyros are not traditional which I found interesting and insightful. That being said, they informed me they are known for pork…of course I ordered chicken before knowing. So I will just need to come back and get the pork soon 😋 the baklava was also perfectly flakey and just the right amount of sweetness. I like when there are still identifiable pieces of nuts in the layers and theirs certainly had some. Can’t wait to return.

My absolute favorite food truck! I’ve been to Charleston multiple times and this is the first place I visit as soon as I get to town! Their gyros and souvlaki are the most authentic Greek food you will ever find in the United States (I’ve been to Greece before and these are just as good, if not better) Their setup is so cute - they have games to play & tables to sit at which makes the dining experience very relaxing and The family that owns the trailer is sooo nice. You absolutely need to eat here, I promise you will not be disappointed!

The food at My Big Fat Greek Trailer is the most authentic Greek food I've had in the States. You can taste that the tzatziki recipe is passed down from generations (thank you, Costas!) Panagiotis, David, and the entire Kakaziotis family are committed to bringing food Greeks actually eat to Charleston, and it doesn't hurt that it's absolutely delicious. Yamas!

My Big Greek Food Truck is hands down the best Greek food in Mount Pleasant, but what makes it truly special is the amazing family behind it. David and Pete are some of the warmest, most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. From the moment you walk up, they treat you like family, and their passion for what they do shines through in every dish.

The food? Absolutely incredible. The gyros are packed with perfectly seasoned meat, the tzatziki is fresh and flavorful, and their spanakopita is out of this world. You can taste the love and authenticity in every bite. Whether you’re a Greek food lover or just looking for a delicious, satisfying meal, this place is a must-visit.

I can’t recommend them enough—amazing food, even better people! Go support this incredible family-run business. You...

WOW!!! All I can sat us that this was the BEST Gyero I have EVER had in my life. I had a place in Illinois that was run by authentic Greeks. But My Bug Fat Greek Gyero food truck outs them to shame!!! Everything was so FRESH & so FLAVORFul. Even the pita bread was so fresh & soft...like homemade. It was also a very HUGE sandwich. I am a big Eater & boy was I full. So much meat packed into it with all the toppings. It was ALL QUALITY ingredients. Even the wrappings they had it in were fantastic & they even handed it to you in a folded paper plate to help catch all the goodies as you ate it. YOU ABSOLUTELY NEED TI TRY THIS PLACE YOURSELF. To the owners & operating people of this food truck I absolutely know you HAVE NAILED EVERYTHING HERE!!! Please come back to DelWebb community...

Finally got to try this great spot after passing it countless times! I ordered lunch through their online portal and it was fresh and ready upon arrival. I forgot to add the meze (i.e., pita, fries, etc) to my souvlaki, so I called after placing my online order and they added this with no problem and said it was on them (I will be back to order LOTS of meze that I will pay for to make up for this 😄). The employees, who I believed to be the owners, probably noticed my full hands with my toddler on my hip and my 8 month pregnant belly and kindly offered to bring the food to my car for me. The pork gyro and souvlaki were delicious and this very pregnant mom really appreciated their above and beyond service...
