Two stars because the food was amazing but the service was horrible….my boyfriend and I who have been in food and bev our entire lives love going out to eat and taking care of fellow service industry people. We were seated and then greeted by our server Carlton. We went in around 6pm and there were only a few tables. At first he was nice and attentive but slowly things went downhill. We ordered edamame as an appetizer and it came out pretty fast. I ordered a salad and my boyfriend ordered beef lo mein. I also ordered a sushi roll with my meal. It came out after the edamame which we didn’t mind because we were hungry. Next thing you know my salad came out and Carlton said my boyfriends food should be out soon. Well we waited and waited….and waited. Empty waters and my boyfriend had been finished with his beer and wanted another. After about 20 minutes we still hadn’t received any kind of acknowledgement from anyone. We saw Carlton walk by us multiple times with no sense of letting us know about our food no reassurance…not a peep. 25 minutes after I received my food and finished it Carlton brought out my boyfriends food and brought a pitcher of water. Didn’t say one word. Nothing. No “sorry for the wait”…or “would you like another beer sir?” Nothing. Of course I said thank you the few times we saw him but still no kind of response. Took my completely empty bowl and walked off and not even a minute later dropped off our check without saying a word…….then proceeded to prop up on the service station and stare us down. He was being cut based off the Rock Paper Scissors game he was playing with his coworker and the more attention he payed to breaking down his section than us. Walked over before my boyfriend could take his third bite of his food to get the card and we were so fed up he threw his card in there.the icing on the cake was he basically ran back and threw fortune cookies on the table and our bill. Once again not even a thank you…nothing. We have never been treated so poorly. Yes we are young and people expect us to Be “shitty tippers” but a servers job is communication. Even if it’s not their fault at least show your customers that you care . We ALWAYS take care of our service industry family but this was the first time we didn’t because we were not respected nor taken care...

After not visiting a P.F. Chang’s in over 15 years, I was genuinely looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing from start to finish, and I won’t be returning.
We chose to sit outside, which turned out to be the best part of the evening. The atmosphere was quite nice, there was a refreshing breeze and the open bar windows helped circulate cool air. The two servers who assisted with cleaning tables and lowering the shades were excellent, friendly, and efficient. Sadly, that level of service did not continue with our assigned server.
It took about 15–20 minutes before our server came by to take drink orders. When the drinks finally arrived, we placed our food orders. I started with a pork egg roll, which was over-fried to the point of being burnt. Things went further downhill from there.
The children received their Lo Mein, which looked and tasted bland…completely lacking in seasoning or sauce. I sampled it myself to be sure, and it was just as flavorless as it appeared. My meal arrived shortly after, orange chicken with Lo Mein. While the chicken was properly sauced, the noodles were identical to the kids’ dish: dry, unseasoned, and underwhelming.
To make matters worse, our server remained inattentive throughout the meal. We observed another family seated near us who waited 20–25 minutes before even having their drink order taken. That same server, who was also ours, appeared far more attentive to bar guests and a booth inside than to any outdoor diners.
My wife was visibly frustrated, and rightfully so. The poor customer service and lackluster food made the whole evening feel like a waste.
A final note: the outdoor area needs attention. The paint on the beams is flaking, and with the fans on, chips of paint were blowing down toward our food which is a clear health hazard and a likely violation of South Carolina’s health codes regarding physical contaminants in food service areas.
Bottom line: The atmosphere was pleasant, but the food and service were not. After this experience, we’ll be taking our...
Read moreI was pretty excited to try this place since I've heard good things, and it's nice and clean on the inside and outside. The food is ok. For appetizers, we had the pork egg roll and crab wontons, and they were my favorite things. They were both crunchy, soft, flavorful, and really nicely plated. We also ordered the bbq pork ribs, and they were ok, a little tough, and way too sweet for me. For my meal I had the lunch special which was honey chicken with plain lo mien. Which was also kind of a bummer for the lunch special because you can't add any veggies or meat to the noodles it has to be plain noodles. The chicken was very good, tender and crunchy. Noodles were noodles, nothing too special, but they were fine. My boyfriends honey shrimp was very good and tender. He had fried rice on the side, and he liked it. Dessert I was excited about because it says chocolate soufflé with raspberry sauce and ice cream. So when i got it and took a bite, that was definitely not a soufflé the was a chocolate truffle cake or something. It wasn't light and fluffy like soufflé should be. It was dense, thick, and literally just a line of raspberry sauce. It needed more and maybe whip cream, but I wasn't expecting a chocolate truffle cake. It's too much thick chocolate. My boyfriends dessert was good it was apple pie egg rolls, I think, and they were very good. We switched because he could tell I didn't like my desert but he liked a lot of chocolate so that was fine with him. Idk for me. I was expecting to kinda be like blown away by the food hearing the reviews from some people, but it was just fancy take out, nothing special. Maybe it was a little bit of an off day for the food. I'll probably try it again in the near future. The service was nice. Our waitress was pretty cool and knew the menu well. The front desk lady seemed to have a little attitude not really welcoming, but whatever, because the waitress was great and the other waiters who kept bringing food were...
