Axath's Cafe & Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Mount Pocono

I live in New York but come to Pennsylvania to visit my parents. I'm always looking for new cultural places to order food from, this place is new and I have never tried it before so I decided to try a few Staples. Steak tacos, chicken quesadilla, chips with guacamole, burrito salad bowl.

I would first want to say that the service here is fantastic, and the lady on the phone and at the service counter are very nice and kind. The food was absolutely fantastic and was the best Mexican food I've had in this area. The vegetables were all crisp and very fresh. Call the meat with seasoned to perfection juicy and tender. The steak tacos really stand out. Highly recommended

PS - I want to take any points off for this but there was a small language barrier when placing the order over the phone. If you happen to know anyone that speaks Spanish it may be best for them to be the ones who speak to the people...

Delicious, QUALITY, FRESH Mexican food! This is the next hot spot in Mt. Pocono for good food! Alice and Axel were super helpful, friendly, kind and patient helping my friend and I navigate the menu. We were super happy with our flavorful nachos, tacos and arroz con pollo! I'm happy they gave GF options with their corn tortillas! Their sodas and juice selection are good, and their homemade horchata drink is delicious if you like cinnamon sugar! 😋 Restaurant is decorated colorfully and very clean, enjoyed dining in. They told us they opened here after success with their popular food trucks in New York. I'm glad they decided to open a location here in Mt Pocono! We will be back and recommend! My intuition told me that this place would be great. I saw "opening soon" on this place and everything had drawn me in. I fell in love with the photos and the color scheme that I could see from the outside. Every time I passed I got increasingly more excited. Seeing those delicious photos of food mixed with a perfect color scheme, logo, wall art... I couldn't wait
