Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Mount Vernon

I trusted jersey Mike with their claim that they use the highest quality foods. I finally read their nutritional facts. It's far from quality. Since when does roast beef have so many bad products in it and call it high quality? High-quality roast beef is just roast beef NO additives! Just beef. Bread is bad. The meats have nitrates and other chemicals. Olive oil blend is canola oil. Just use olive oil, you cheap crap seller. Everything they make is bad for you. Read the nutritional fact on their website yourself. You will be disgusted too on what you're eating. Might as well eat a hamburger. Most likely less bad for you than their sandwiches. We will no longer buy jersey mikes. They're in the same category as subway yoga mat bread. They taught me a lesson those who claim the highest quality is the worst for you. From now on, I will read the nutritional facts of the food a restaurant is selling. Change your ways MIKE! Or quit claiming high quality. Should read worst for...

I'm shocked that they have such a high review. Don't get me wrong, I was excited about this place too, and hopeful. BUT....after eating there 4 times, and commenting to staff about this issue, I now understand it's just how there meat is prepared. SOOO SALTY...and I'm a salt guy! I like salty stuff. But we're talking about cow lick salty. So salty you can barely stomach it!!! I asked the staff each time, why it was so salty and they told me it's how jersey mikes meat is. Unfixable. Sorry, but that's not good tasting...it's overkill. If I ate here everyday for 1 week I'd have a heart attack . There are very few sub places doing it rite now a days. Gandolphos yew York deli is one of them!! They literally blow jersey mikes out of the water!!! But there located in Bellingham . I have to say, the few times before, it was wonderful and nice, though on 8/23 of 2022, I had to wait 45 minutes for my food, and it wasn't busy... Two people in front of me, those people got their food, but 20 minutes after they got their food, still nothing. Even the person who got their food before me, he said "Bro, I think he forgot about you", it was so ridiculous that a random person hoped I got my food. In this, 5 more minutes went by, two more people came in and they ended up getting their food, as in I was ignored and didn't get my food until 45 minutes in. To further add to insult, I order a 26, which is a chicken bacon sandwich and a GF (Gluten Free) 17, which is the famous Philly. When my order was done and I had to go, when I got home, order was messed up... My 26 order had only bacon in it. Ridiculous. I'm not coming back to...
