Of the approximate 8-10 times ive patronized this restaurant within the past couple months i've no complaints until tonight's experience. I've actually enjoyed the product and service up till tonight...this one is on the managerial staff, not their minions...

I was a drive thru customer tonight at around 8:30 pm and the restaurant had a steady flow of customers before and after me. The product speaks for itself. A solid 4 star to 5 star review should be warranted and would normally be given.
Whether its your 1st day on the job or your 1000th day in your career once in a while something is forgotten as you perform that task. We are human and not infallible. Tonight my "baconator" double hamburger actually underperformed and was a "baconator" single. Not the end of the world, no. Where it all went south for Wendy's was the half of a ring straight into an instant busy signal on their phone line when I called to discuss this mishap with the night time managerial staff. But, nope. No can do. Wasnt able to leave a voice message, neither. Their phone line being "off the hook" from 845 pm thru closing at 11pm pretty much says to the public that they're not interested in any customer communication whether getting "mad props for an awesome customer experience and we love your products" or "jeez, ya "f't that one up completely. Please make it better"
This restaurant still has that new restaurant look and feel. The "front of the house" staff have always been professional, courteous and busy helping customers by fullfilling their orders at the front counter and at drive-thru while in the "back of the house" the cooks hustle in the kitchen prepairing the hot food they've created for the orders on their screens. There has always been staff visible cleaning everything within site.
I hope this was a simple mistake of "oh s*!t, the phone was off the hook" or "damn, didn't realize I'd left my Inventory folder or General ledger leaning against the phone" when I'd set it down last and not an individuals' immature, unprofessional and reckless behavior speaking volumes to Wendy's customers.
...So Wendy, any way to rectify the mishap on my underperformed "baconator" double hamburger I paid for? Let...
Read moreI have gone here pretty regularly as they are blocks away from where I live. I will say where it is new, that is about the only good thing I can say. I order the same thing every time 2-3 times a week. ( I need to eat out less) and more often than not they have forgotten an item or made the item incorrectly. They have multiple times misheard my order and made me pay for multiple big dollar items instead of the value menu items I have ordered. I have tried to be very patient as I understand they are new, and it can be a thankless job. However each time I have tried to mention the mistakes the manager there tried to make it sound like it was my fault, and that the newer workers there couldn’t have messed up. After taking a loss on the cost of my food several times I finally asked them to fix the situation. Since it was 8:00 pm they made me walk through the drive through (I travel there on foot) and get the items they forgot at the window while cars were there. After this awkward exchange in front of a strangers car window they didn’t even offer any type of consolation for making me walk there again because of their mistake (medium fry ordered could have offered large) personally I don’t write reviews ever, but this really frustrated me as I was always kind and understanding while the manager woman always made it seem like I was at fault, or that I was trying to “swindle” them out of anything. Take your business elsewhere unless you want a sub par customer service and fast...

Used their app for the first time, did my order, set up my pick up time and paid, seemed pretty straight forward. Walked in and saw their bin where it stated to pick up online orders but didn't see mine so I sat down close by to keep an eye on it, then was approached by a very grizzly looking employee asking me what I was doing so after telling him he stated I had to “check in'' before they would start making my order… this completely defeats the purpose of online ordering, I want to walk in at my pick up time, grab my food and walk out just like at any other restaurant that does online ordering, when I questioned the employee about it he told me he doesn't “do apps” and had no knowledge about how their own company app works.
Also be aware this location is difficult to get in and out of as its right next to a freeway onramp and has a street divider so if your going Westbound you have to Uturn, along with that they only have one entry and exit and its in a spot where you basically have to do a big circle around the entire building to get to the parking area or thru drive thru and if your going thru drive thru you have to do another complete circle to get out of...
