St. Stephen's Green — Restaurant in Mountain View

If I could give 0 stars or less I would. Service was terribly slow and we had to push multiple times to get our drinks and the check.

This is not the worst part though. When my friend paid for the check he did not receive his credit card back. After returning to the bar an hour later to pick up the credit card the personnel was completely unwilling to return the credit card even after providing an accurate description of the card (I own a card by the same bank and showed it) and providing two forms of ID.

First the bartender, who was clearly drunk, said they couldn't find the card at all. After we pressed that we were certain the card was left here they went back to the back and later came back and showed it to us. At this point, the bartender said he couldn't give the card and we'd have to come pick it up 3 days later. When asking the bartender why he could not come up with a reasonable explanation.

At this point we called 911 and did our story to the emergency services. While on the phone the manager came over and returned the card to my friend.

I'm completely stunned that it took a 911 call to convince the personnel to return the credit card. We told the emergency services they didn't have to intervene as we got...

St. Stephen’s Green 223 Castro St Mountain View, CA 94041

I went there on a Thursday afternoon to try their Happy Hour. The Happy Hour menu is extensive and includes the Fish and Chips. It’s at the north end of Castro St. with standard city lots or parking structures nearby.

The interior had the dim, cozy pub feeling similar to my experiences in the UK. Since I was a single I sat at the bar and ordered the Fish & Chips and an Oakland stout from the Super Happy Hour menu. The beer was about a half pint and very smooth and tasty. My food was brought to me by one of the kitchen staff. The filet as huge on a generous bed of fries. The thicker part my fish was extra crispy and when it got cold was hard as a rock. The fish itself appears to be frozen, some parts were flaky and some parts mushy.

The Happy Hour was an okay value but I would try something else a next time. Definitely would not get the Fish &...

I tried to enter around 11:30pm on Saturday night mid January. The security refused me to enter. When I asked why, one of the security said you have been drinking alcohol. Even though, I didn't do anything to anyone one. Plus I was not inside St Stephen's Green. I was outside the property, one of the security. He was an African-American, he physically attacked me. Even though, I was not on the property. He pushed my Chase with both of his hands. Immediately, after he attacked. He was hiding inside the the bar. I would challenge St. Stephen's Green to provide me a video evidence of my wrong doing. How could, I get attackedbyby your employee even though I was never in property. Usually, this kind behavior is a third world problem. I would definitely challenge the owner & management of Stephen's Green to look this matter...
