On our way home from a road trip. Stopped here to eat. You walk to the front and order like you do at a subway. The cashier/counter help, had a attitude right from the start. My friend and I looked at each other and I said to the young woman, what's the matter, you don't like your job? And she gave us a dirty look, and said what do you want to order? And the she said told the line crew what we wanted on our pizza, and the young man grabbed a pre made pizza crust, and it had something on it, I wasn't sure what it was, and I didn't want it either, because of what was on it. So I told the young man, I didn't want it, and the counter /cashier girl said it's ok use it to the boy. I said No I don't want that one, I want one that didn't have dirt or whatever it was. She gave me another dirty look, and I said to her, how long have you worked in this kind of business? She said 6 yrs, I believe? I looked at her and said, we have been in this business for over 30 yrs, so if a customer sees something on their food that shouldn't be there, you should replace it, Liked asked! And she got real snotty with us and tried to take the pizza crust from the boy, and he threw it in the garbage. I thanked him. As we moved down the line, we get to the manager, he was very polite and we made small talk. We went to our table and he bought us out our pizza. We noticed that they made it wrong, so I took it up to the manager and told him, and he got rude with me, about not standing there while the boys made the pizza, and I told him, it was our 1st time there, and we didn't know that. The counter girl told the boys 4 times what should be in it, so the manager told me to go stand in line and stay there until your pizza is made correctly. And so I did, and then he bought the pizza out when it was done. We noticed the manager and the girl, were talking and looking at us, so we new they were talking about us. No big deal, we didn't care, that leaves someone else alone, we didn't care.
would we ever stop there when in the area? Absolutely not
The food quality? Very thin crust and hardly any toppings and we ordered extra cheese
Service? They definitely need to take a food handling class to learn how to respect and take care of customers.
atmosphere? Not much I can say about the atmosphere is very bright in there they had hard booths to sit in.
So this was my experience with this place. We'll never go back. But thanks for the...
Read moreFabulous experience at the Murfreesboro location! We're traveling through town and staying at a local hotel; I had never heard of Blaze Pizza, but the concept, pics, menu, and reviews all looked good, so we decided to give it a try. Ordered the online 1-topping large special ($10) with regular crust, mozzarella, and mushrooms, and was thrilled to see we could get fresh arugula on top as an optional "finisher" for no extra charge. Yes, please! (I've PAID full topping price for less arugula than this.) I always worry about ordering food by internet, but these guys are really on top of their e-game: it was easy to order, we got the confirmation email right away, and the pickup time was exactly what the website had estimated it would be (20 minutes). When we pulled into one of the curbside pick-up spots, before I could even pick up my phone to say I had arrived, there was a guy at my window, handing me the correct pizza. Impressive! It's definitely one of the better pizzas I've had in a while, even rivaling in flavor some very good pizza we had in Rome (Italy). Tasty tomato sauce, not too much cheese (which I prefer), and the "free" arugula was in absolutely pristine condition! A beautiful-looking pizza, and delicious, too. After literally not getting ANY food at all from a curbside pickup experience the night before, this fast, fresh, hot pizza was just what we needed to restore our faith in take-out (let's just say Cheddar's could take lessons from Blaze). $12.50 total (including tip) for what amounted to a 2-topping large pizza is hard to beat. We are definitely looking forward to returning and trying out their extensive menu and impressive-looking drink collection in-house on our next visit to...
Read moreBlaze Pizza isn't your average pizza joint. It's a haven for customization lovers, and for my recent lunch, it hit the spot perfectly. Here's why:
The beauty of Blaze Pizza lies in the "build-your-own" concept. You choose your crust (thin or regular), then unleash your inner pizzaiolo as you pile on a seemingly endless selection of fresh toppings. From classic pepperoni and melty cheeses to unique options like roasted corn and crumbled goat cheese, the possibilities are endless. It's like having a pizza playground at your fingertips.
The best part? You don't have to worry about your masterpiece being undercooked or burnt. Blaze Pizza uses a blazing hot wood-fired oven that cooks your pizza to crispy perfection in just a few minutes. Each bite is a symphony of textures – the thin, crispy crust, the perfectly melted cheese, and the burst of flavor from your chosen toppings.
Let's talk affordability. For a touch over $10, you can walk out with a delicious, 11-inch pizza customized exactly to your liking. That's a steal compared to other fast-casual pizza places.
Overall, Blaze Pizza is a lunchtime winner in my book. It's perfect for satisfying your pizza cravings with fresh, high-quality ingredients, all at a budget-friendly price. Plus, the build-your-own format lets you unleash your inner chef and create a pizza that's truly your own.
