The food taste is a definite solid 4 out of 5. Only a 4 instead of 5 due to the portion sizes. For the price you'd expect a little more, not a doubling, but more than the smallest cup that could be found in existence.
Next, the atmosphere. I'm intentionally skipping over the service right now because I support local businesses. The atmosphere was nice. Kind of reminiscent of the soho feel in San Francisco's Jack London Square.
If you've read this long review, and have visited this location, I think you'll agree that it lacks the Southern charm that should be exuding from a location of this size. It's busy at this point because it's new. However, I mean this advice as a small business owner myself, when you've obviously messed up on an order and the customer takes time to drive all the way back to your location, you may want to express decency, humility and do any and everything within reason that the customer suggests to make things right. The important thing is "within reason. "
This issue was clearly not handled properly. I honestly doubt the local owner would approve. As such, I'd probably skip giving my hard earned dollars in this current economy and drive a little further past this location to spend my money where it is appreciated at a more friendly location.

Read moreThe cashier that worked tonight, July 18 2025, when we arrived at 9:25 was excellent. Sorry I didn’t catch her name and it’s not on my receipt. There was a lot going on with different orders. She was the only one taking orders and making sure every customer was taken care of. When it was our turn she helped us make our choices upon asking her request for recommendations. We normally don’t tip at places like this however we gave her a little something tonight for her service. In hindsight I wish we had given her more. As for the restaurant itself, it was clean. Small dining area however we took our orders to go. Our dessert came out in a timely manner. At one point a guy which I believe was the manager came out to assist as well. I ordered just the regular peach cobbler. I was disappointed. It was just ok. I wouldn’t get it again. I would suggest try something unique on their menu. My husband’s banana pudding was better...
Read moreI was quite excited to try this place. I do love cobbler. I got the peach and the caramel apple. I got mine without the icecream since I'm lactose intolerant. Sad to say it wasn't very good. It's not a cobbler for nearly $10 a cup. I heated it up a bit to give it the best chance, the peaches were sort of crunchy which I found odd. Since usually its a nice kind of soft. I could really only taste the peach too. Not much else going on in flavor. For the caramel apple. It was the better one of the two. I expect apples to have more if a firmness. It is extremely caramelly. So, I would recommend having this with some sort of vanilla icecream to balance it out some. There is enough caramel it honestly mostly tastes like caramel with a hint of apple.
I've included photos to give an idea. Spoon for size reference. Left one is the caramel apple. Right one...
