1st visit was about 7 months ago, absolutely fantastic pizza and service. I guess like all great things they must come to an end. A second visit was made 3 months ago and the "hostess" was frantic and unpleasant. Pizza was a still however absolutely worth coming back for. Thus my 3rd and final visit was made recently. Sadly this visit left me shaking my head and disappointed with both the food and service. The "hostess" again seemed incapable of managing the front counter, and discouraged us from ordering a full pizza over their buffet. Which appeared to be stale and lacking appeal. The man making the pizzas had to make multiple attempts to get this woman to get things handled and welcome the customers as they come in. We watched our pizza come out of the oven and sit for five minutes or so while he kept asking for her to basically do her job. The pizza wasn't crisp like it had been, it sat waiting too long before it got to us it had lost its luster being under fans and such. The nightclub style music that was blasting in the rear of the dining area made it unbearable and very difficult to have a conversation with the people at our table. The woman who came in prior to us leaving and she was changing television channels was rather rude and made us feel as though we were in her way, whilst the reality is she was in ours, and it's patrons like we, that provide her a steady income. I would think it wise to make some changes and keep the pizza on the forefront of the list of importance, and train the staff to be courteous. Maybe in time we shall return but not in the forsee...
Read moreI was visiting my friends in Tennessee from Florida and we ordered a lot of pizza for a 14 year old's birthday party. When we went to pick it up the order it was was wrong however it was not checked before we left because we trusted that this establishment would get it right if there was a problem.
When we were ready to eat the Calamari was missing. On top of which some of the toppings were wrong on other pies. My friend called Sal's and they promised to deliver the Calamari. It never came. We called again and once again they promised and they never delivered it.
The next day we went to speak to the store and they promised to have the owner call my friend who paid for the pizza. From what I understand that never happened.
I like to say this - I've gotten better and more honest service from hustlers on 42nd St in Time Square NY in the 80.The next time I am up there I will never go to this dump. It's employed by irresponsible staff who just takes money and thinks nothing of it. Not only do they have an attention to detail issue but they lie also. Everyone was looking forward to the Calamari but instead this dump ruined a 14 year old's birthday party. how dare you. A note to the owner you might have gotten away with a few dollars but in the end it will bite you in your Royal American. Are you in such need of money that you have to steel money from paying clients. Well I hope you were able to afford a cup of coffee from the...
Read moreMy husband, daughter and I went there for dinner last night.
The woman there told us to sit anywhere. We were the only ones there besides maybe one other person.
We looked at the menu and decided I would have the cheese slice, my daughter wanted a Mediterranean slice, and my husband wanted a mushroom slice.
The woman said they were out of Mediterranean slices. So my daughter said she’d like a pepperoni slice instead.
The woman said wait a minute and left to go talk to the two men (who were not doing ANYTHING).
She came back and said the only pizza they had was one cheese slice, 1 meat lover, and four supreme slices.
So my daughter looked at the menu and said ok I’ll have the vegetarian lasagna.
The woman comes back five minutes later and said they don’t have vegetarian lasagna.
And again - the two men who were supposedly the cooks were doing NOTHING.
We were there around 5pm. Not right before closing. Not when they first opened.
How can a so called pizza place have only 6 slices of pizza available for the whole restaurant?!?!
We said we’re going to go eat elsewhere. And she said ok I’ll ring up the soda (my husband had a glass of soda. My daughter and I had water).
So we walked over to the register and she said “I won’t charge since it was just one soda.”
We will NEVER EVER patronize that “business” again.
If I could give a negative star...
