I was very disappointed in the customer service I received today, April 21, 2022. Tiara, the front desk clerk, was very dismissive, condescending and unnecessarily unkind. There are at least 5 other wax salons within a 5 mile radius so the least this place could do is appreciate their customers. Based on my experience today, I will choose another salon for my waxing needs going forward. I had a 5:30 appointment and arrived at the facility right at 5:30 but because the restaurant next door takes up most of the parking I had to circle the lot a couple times before finding a parking space. After finding parking and walking to the salon. I entered the building at exactly 5:36. There was a customer already at the desk checking in. After this person checked in the person sitting at the desk (Fran) switched places with Tiara. I get up to the desk and, Tiara asks for my name, it takes her a few seconds and then she just says "we have openings at 6pm". I said "oh no I have a 5:30 appointment.' Tiara then tells me that they have a 7 minute grace period and since it's 5:38 I was too late. She didn't say "oh i'm sorry we have a grace period so we cannot see you," she only said "we have openings at 6pm", with a very caviler, nonchalant attitude couldn't care less that the reason I wasn't checked in at 5:37 was because THEY were working with someone else and THEY don't have adequate parking. Not caring that it was 5:38 when reached the front desk so it's obvious that I had to have been in the building at 5:37. Anyway, I looked at my watch and said to her "you've got to be kidding, it's 5:38, I was standing here in line while you checked the person in front of me in so I wasn't late". I went on to point out that "had it not been for the person in front of me I would have been at the desk at 5:37." Tiara just shakes her head and with a very dismissive attitude and says "you're too late." Fran stood quietly watching this transpire. I asked Tiara to see her manager because she seemed to not care at all. I felt her delivery was unnecessarily rude, almost like a power trip. Fran then says to Tiara that she will take me. I am grateful that Fran took the initiative to solve the issue before it had to be escalated to a manger. I completely understand and respect the 7 minute grace period policy however, since most watches and clocks don't all show exactly the same time at all times I think it's ridiculous to turn away a customer that is in the salon on time but doesn't reach the desk until after the grace period. And even if I walked through the door at 5:38, and you have to cancel a customer at least be kind about it, which is what my issue is with this salon. In a salon that has bible verses on the wall, I think extending a little kindness in delivery of information isn't too...
Read moreI went to get a Brazilian wax and this would be my third time ever getting one so I booked online for Danielle because she did a great job last time I went but received a call the next day from the receptionist asking what additional services I was requesting. I told her eyebrow arch and wax upper lip as well so she told me that would be fine but she would have to push the time back from 4:00 to 5:45 which was not a problem for me. When I got off the phone I received a message stating my wax would be given by Eury and I didn’t say anything about them giving me someone new because I thought maybe because of the additional services maybe she wasn’t able to do it at that time. I went to my appointment and Eury waxed my eyebrow and upper lip fine, however when she was giving the Brazilian it felt like she was all over the place and I thought you’re supposed to go towards one direction but this is not my profession, I just remember them doing it the last two times I’ve had it done. This wax was hurting more then usual and I guess because of my reaction she asked me if this was my first wax and I said no my third, thinking this feels like my first but only worse. It just hurt more than I thought it should. I told the receptionist as I was checking out that I wanted Daniele next time and always. I took a shower later and I was burning from the wax and I felt as if I was swollen so I had my husband look and I had an open cut and an abrasion on another area and I know this as well because I ended up going to the doctor. I called the next day and asked for a manger and the receptionist told me they don’t speak to customers right away but could call me back and asked me what it was regarding so I told her and she asked me who it was and I told her, she tells me oh that’s the owner😡so not only am I’m hurting but you tell me the owner did this to me. So she tells me she can have her daughter call me back because she is co owner. 2 tries after this I get a call back from the daughter and I tell her what happened and she tells me this can happen because it’s a sensitive area and sometimes it does happen. I tell her it’s never happened to me and I just wanted my money back. I didn’t get an apology but what I did get told after that is that Danielle no longer works there and my next appointment was just cancelled. It was fine with me because I was never going back anyway. That was crazy to because she was working the day before but now she is no longer there. If that type of stuff happens when you get a wax they should have something to warn people or something but you don’t ever have to worry about me...
Read moreI wasn’t going to share my review but since the last time I was in there and I was assigned Fran- she handed me off to another worker. Due to the fact- last month when I was there I scheduled my appt later in the evening 630pm. Fran came in the room and began talking about how she was ready to go home and she was tired from working all day. Which I also was tired from working in a hospital all day. But I did not complain to her. Then she proceeded to complain about how I waited 1 week too long. She continued to complain about it. Then rips off each wax paper - as hard - and as aggressive as she possibly could. When I told her it was hurting more than normal - she looked at me, smiled , and said that’s what happens when you wait too long. Extremely unprofessional. I still tipped her 10$ because I’m way too nice. Recommend the facility- but not Fran. Fran should stay at home and not work a job at all since she does it complains about how tired she is then gives her customers away. NOT PLEASED with her poor , trashy , judgmental , arrogant self. Ugly & her shoes were ugly as well. 0/10...
