I have never had a worse experience at any fast food establishment. I wish I could rate zero stars.
I had an unbelievably long day/night and have been up for 20 hours straight doing remodeling and painting on my house and then going to work and being in a kitchen for eight + hours. All I wanted was a warm meal after such a long day, and McDonald's is the only thing open on my way home that would allow me to get home without having to sit down in the restaurant and eat.
I arrived shortly after midnight was greeted by silence on the speaker for at least for five minutes. I knew they were open because I had seen people inside, I checked their hours online, and the drive-thru sign said 24 hours so I just sat and waited, listened to my music and hung out (mind you I had enough time while sitting there to double check their hours online and then also start perusing Facebook before anyone acknowledged me being there).
Finally a very annoyed voice comes over the speaker and says "What can I get you?" I laughed kind of surprised, but then brushed it off because some people just don't do mornings very well. No big deal. So I ordered my breakfast in a combo with a hash brown and coffee and when I got to the window the woman told me that they didn't have hashbrowns? How do you not have hash browns? Do you just not want to make them? Either way, I told her not to worry about it and I asked if I could still get my medium coffee please. And then in a tone that seemed to suggest that I'm an idiot, she informed me that a large is the same price as a medium. When I told her I wanted a medium just the same she looked at me like I had five heads for not getting a large.
She finally gave me my change but it seemed like I might have been shorted a little so I asked for a receipt just to make sure the hash brown wasn't on there or something. Maybe I calculated wrong.... Nope. Before handing me my receipt, she handed me the rest of my change and said "Oh sorry, here's this" and then left the area to go grab my receipt from somewhere else? A different printer? I don't know. As I left, all I got was a very short and insincere, obligatory "Have a nice day."
Now let me tell you, considering the fact that I just wanted something to eat, all of this would have been kind of tolerable if the food had been even remotely edible. I couldn't even eat half of the biscuit because it had been microwaved for so long. It was rock hard. The bacon was all fat. And the thing looked like it had been assembled in the dark by a drunk person. Overall I wasted my time and money on an awful sandwich that my 5yo nephew could have made better.
I feel like McDonald's as a corporation knows that the five dollars is not worth most people's effort and so have a disproportionately small number of formal complaints than they should. I, for example, will not be wasting my time with them in hopes of my money back, but I most definitely will be never going to this McDonald's again.

Read moreToday I ordered 2 double quarter pounders with cheese to go, but instead I got 2 quarter pounders with cheese. When I noticed the error on my receipt, I brought it to the attention of the person that I purchased it from. He attempted to fix it by getting the servers to add another patty to each burger, but found that I would have to pay the difference for the extra patties. I didn't have a problem doing this, but rather than paying the difference between the two burgers, the extra patties got added on as side orders rather than burger upgrades. Because of this, I ended up paying $2.40 (plus tax) rather than the $1.60 I should have payed.
In another order, I ordered 2 20 piece Chicken McNuggets & only got a total of 20 when I left. I called up & complained about it, boiling down to telling them if they didn't correct it that they were going to loss a customer. They sent me 2 gift cards for free meals, but all I wanted was what I didn't get when I left before, so I told them I didn't want the fries with that. Regardless of all this being done, it has happened a few other times where I caught the lack of product before I left the store.
I've also talked with my case manager about it & he's told me he's always gotten bad service from this location, which doesn't surprise me given the number of times I've had to have them correct something after ordering. To put things simple, this location has some of the poorest service of any resterant in Utah & you should consider going to another location if you want food...
Read moreOut of pure curiosity, I stopped in at this McDonald's location because I used to eat here often fifty years ago. There is no comparison to the good old days remaining, but the menu remains pretty much unchanged, English speakers are tolerated. Español is now the primary communication preference of the staff. The kitchen is open to the dining area, allowing the boisterous banter of the staff to echo from the windows and walls therein. This concauphany is backgrounded by the constant pulsing of the alarm from the deep fryer. A gentleman sits to the left of me with earbuds faithfully screening a majority of the blast from interrupting his focus on his laptop. Only the rare brief pause between customers allows the decibels to drop briefly. The best way to enjoy a meal at this location is to drive up and eat it in your car while listening to classical music of your preference. The stark dining area is clean, as are the restrooms. This location does not offer a self-service soda fountain as found at most other locations. Parking is abundant. I gave them 2 stars because they did not suggest a tip. You now have to salt your own fries, and they have no fry sauce. Catsup is available in micro packaging. You must open 8 of them to make it through an order of small fries. By the time you open all your Catsup packets, your food...
