Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in Murrieta

I placed a mobile app order for curbside pickup at 5pm for the World Series. I arrived at 4:55pm and called the store. The employee answered politely and was very friendly. She said she would have someone bring out my food right away. They didn't look busy but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. 5:25pm I exit my vehicle and enter Canes. I waited for someone to be available and told them I came down to check on my order. She said she was sorry but my bag was ready to go on the counter. I thanked her and decided to check my bag before leaving. We were missing 2 gallons of lemonade and sweet tea. I went back in line to ask for my lemonade and sweet tea. I exited and left at 5;35pm. Food 5 stars. Raising Cane's makes the best chicken tenders around. Atmosphere 5 stars. Music blaring while the staff cooks and sings in great spirits, Also a very clean restaurant. An extremely poor experience at Cane's. I was having a quick later lunch and went to the Cane's drive thru for a quick meal. As I was placing my order with modifications, the person on the speaker box interrupted me and said "the drink?". I told them the drink, but wanted to be clear that they got my order request. They cut me off again and asked me to pull forward. There was one car in front of me which I took to mean they were not busy, so I'm not sure why the person on the speaker box was being impatient and rude. First thing, they got the drink wrong. Secondly, we had to pull around to the front to wait for the order (so not quick). Third, my order was incorrect, the fries were salted to the point of being caked with salt, and tenders wee so overcooked that my son and I could not chew them. I'm not a fan of wasting money, time and receiving poor customer service. There are too many other options in the Clinton Keith plaza for this particular Cane's to be my food...

Decided to try them again after they reached out to me. The food was much better! I just made sure to go inside this time since I know takeouts sometimes decrease the quality of food/service. Food was fresh and presented well. Portions were decent. Customer service was excellent. That's all you need to get 5 stars, really! I still don't think the food is all that glorious, but the quality was very good.

Staff were nice, but they messed up my order. I asked for unsweetened tea, and received sweet tea. Unfortunately didn't realize this till I got home. The food portions were alright, but the fries were a bit soggy; there was no crisp whatsoever. Nothing spectacular about the food, really (first-time taster), but it's great if you have the late-night munchies!

Overall, I would recommend. Just double check your orders and don't expect anything too magical. Price was reasonable, considering...
