Date and Time of Visit: 5/29/24 8:45 PM: You guys should win an award for being the slowest fast food restaurant. Normally, I wouldn't care about waiting that much, but I was trying to catch the bus. Waiting 14 minutes for two junior cheeseburgers is maybe a tiny bit outrageous though, no?
Also, I still wouldn't have cared that much if one of the employees there didn't try to single me out when making an announcement that "Nothing is ready" and to wait.
For context, I was the only person who was waiting my turn and after a few minutes, tried to get someone's attention in case it was ready and just sitting there (because again... I just ordered... 2 junior cheeseburgers) and turned my phone to show my name and at that moment, she decided to make that announcement and then proceeded to ask me if I can understand her in a condescending tone like if I'm 3 years old.
I still had my phone slightly turned toward her direction, which I guess is what she thought warranted belittling me, but only because I was busy listening to what she was saying in a loud setting. I don't know if she expected me to immediately pull my phone back towards me like if she were trying to steal it, but the bottom line is that she had no reason to be a jerk about it.
Anyways, I only come here because I don't have any other Wendy's near me or this would be my last option. The customers that come here are just as rude as the staff. Oh and be prepared to be harassed by 100 bikers (literally) when you come here because they use Wendy's and the McDonald's across the street as a...
Read moreI usually love Wendy's, it's good food and pleasant service......usually. I went into the store and the first thing I see is a sour looking woman (who I will not name) behind the register, maybe she's just having a bad day I think, then she talks to us before we even get in line "Is this gonna be for here or to go?" We say for here and she says "Well what are you getting then?" Wow this woman is outright rude. I get my usual Wendy's order, spicy chicken sandwich combo, I say just that "I would like a spicy chicken sandwich combo please." She rolls her eyes so far back in her head I thought they'd pop out. "You mean a number six." After that I knew I was going to write a review, this store needed to change. We paid for our food and small frosty for on the side and waited for the food. The sandwiches came out first, warm and promising with hot fresh fries. But then came the frosty, or should I say melty, it looked more like skim milk than a thick milkshake to eat with a spoon, which is what they put on the tray for us. The food was good but the frosty was lukewarm. Throughout the meal we could hear over the radio the sound of the sour woman behind the counter which may have been a manager she clearly didn't want to do anything. Will probably go back bit just because I...
Read moreMaybe đ¤âŚ it isnât a good idea to serve grilled chicken at room temperature. This is going to invite food-born illness. The single rib of lettuce on my sandwich was the level of effort I expected based on the temp of my chicken sandwich. Not a leaf of lettuce - that part had been removed. I had a rib of lettuce. My friend ordered a deluxe burger that helped to answer the question of why my sandwich was room temp. Her burger was room temperature as well and had a pinch mark very clearly visible on the bun because she had asked for âno onionâ. So they had to lift the bun (not carefully) to remove the onion from the pre-made sandwich. Upon lifting the bun herself (seeing this obviously pinch mark), you could see thin onion impressions on top of the cold coagulated cheese starting to discolor from the wetness of the veggies on top of it.
Fries and nuggets were hot and fresh, but the sandwiches were both room temp.
My recommendation here has to be to eat-at-your-own-risk. A room-temp sandwich prepared in advance and not kept at an appropriate temperature is going to strain even the strongest of stomachs.
GOOD LUCK! AND BUY...
