So disappointing of an experience. Waited the typical 20 plus mins in drive thru but that's OK and the norm. I finally get to window where barista is standing with window open. She keeps her back to me not looking at me and then after looking at my FULLY READY DRINK, she walked away twice looking for what I don't know. I roll up the window since it is raining and see her go talk to another employee and they change places with window barista going to front and front barista coming to window. I asked what that was about and expressed how rude that was and although she apologized I got the move on out the line were busy vibe and was asked is there anything else I can do for you at this time maam? Welp once I saw she absolutely did not care what just happened to me, I just asked her to please give me my drink that has been sitting and waiting and I left. I mean I had my cell ready when I pulled to the window and my window was down...and my drink was ready and she was AT THE WINDOW. Why not just get my payment and give me my drink? It bothered me enough to call back for a mgr and was told none on duty but a supervisor from another store took my complaint and was very apologetic. I still would love to know why the barista would be so blatantly rude, unprovoked, but I likely will never know. Worst Starbucks experience since I became a customer more than 15 years ago. Starbucks Myrtle Beach do better. You have tourists coming in from all over and if your baristas don't like ALL ethnicities, colors and creeds they need to be fired.
Oh and for all that attitudeand rudeness, my drink was mediocre đ not sweet enough at all and couldn't taste the buttery topping that she reminded me when I was placing the order " does not come in this drink".    Read moreI recently added money to my Starbucks app. The employee was new and tried many times to add the money. Finally another employee came over to see what the problem was and she was able to add the money to my account. HOWEVERâŚThe end result was that Starbucks Corp froze my account due to possible fraudulent activity. Every time I called customer service they immediately hung up on me before I could speak to anyone. This happened too many times to count. Whenever I finally reached a service representative, they assured me the problem would be corrected within 24-48 hours. 10 days later my app is still frozen and they say they canât refund my nearly $100 because the account is frozen for possible fraudulent activity. Twice my complaint was moved to a higher category for resolution. Even with an official complaint number and supposedly a higher level supervisor I am still told it will take 24-48 to unfreeze my accountâŚevery time I call!! Nothing changes. I canât use the app and canât get a refund on my money. In my opinion this is totally inexcusable!
Use to be a great store but since they got a new manager, itâs gone downhill. Equipment is broken several days a week. Lobby often closed. Lines in drive through are long, but manager cutting employee hours and laying off others anyway. I asked if manager ever comes in to help. The response was âI really canât discuss that.â Not sure what this new manager does. I come every day to get coffee and knew all staff including the prior managers. Have never seen this new one.    Read moreI am definitely impressed by the service at this location, theyâre very friendly and welcoming. My first stop into this location was just minutes before they closed for my partner markout bag of coffee beans for morning coffees at our hotel. The baristas were very nice and accommodating. The next stop was this morning through the drive through, the service was excellent and we were served quickly. They accepted my partner numbers with no problem which was great! We had a quick lovely conversation then I was on my way. Unfortunately as I drove I realized my drink was made incorrectly (missing mocha drizzle which adds the flavor to my drink) no biggie but a little disappointing, especially knowing first hand how important it is to follow drink recipes. My mom ordered the cold foam cascara cold brew, they let us know at pickup that they were out of the cascara sprinkles, again no biggie and I know itâs not the baristas fault but it does take a little away from the drink.
Will probably be stopping by again on this trip, it is definitely interesting to experience starbucks as a customer rather...
