Went here on Tuesday September 24th 2024, with my family and some friends as part of our South Carolina vacation. We were a party of 6, and they accomoddated us right away. We sat in a table in a corner, which was comfortable and fine. The chairs were also comfortable as well. First thing i saw when i sat down, they have mixed drinks and cocktails! I immediately ordered their blue hawaiian, when the server got there. Our server was Enzo, and he was very nice and professional, checked if we were okay, checked on our meals. As far as other drinks, my mom got the peer punch, 2 people got beers, and one got a wine. I very much enjoyed my blue hawaiian, and it tasted really good! We also had waters too, which were filled up constantly, and the waiter even brought pitchers of water over to our table, and left it on there so we can refill the water if we need. As a starter, one serves bread here, and it comes with a balasmic oil dip for dunking. Bread was also fresh and delicous! For Food, i was first unsure on what to get, but i settled on the Penne Ala Vodka, and i got that with Chicken since Enzo asked, and it is important to have a protein if one wants, My dad got the scallops and shrimp, my mom got a chicken dish with pasta, someone had a lobster ravoli, and others got great food. some of the food did come with a salad. Food was very good, and the pasta was very tasty, as well as the chicken was tender. Overall enjoyed this place. We got the check in an efficient manner, paid via credit card and left a cash tip. We stayed and talked, and closed the restaurant, literally. Restrooms were also very clean! But overall, hope to be back next trip, as this is a definite must stop!

This place was amazing it’s almost hard to describe how incredible it truly was of an experience. We decided to dine here for our anniversary dinner while we were visiting Myrtle Beach and the food was to die for. We had soup and salad and both were delicious. We had the lobster ravioli and Renato’s favorite (a play off of American Alfredo dishes but tastes wayyy better!!) for entrées. The lobster ravioli was divine probably the best Italian food I had ever had in my life, with the lobster and pasta being super fresh, well seasoned, and the sauce being creamy and well balanced. We absolutely loved the Italian margaritas that we got as well for drinks. The bread was also delicious. Our server was super knowledgeable about the menu, and I just knew from the moment we spoke to him, that we were in for a treat with the food from this establishment. He was able to go over almost the whole menu from memory perfectly to help me choose the perfect dish. We were sat in a little corner in front of a window with the candle/lamp on the table, perfectly drawn curtains on both sides and it was absolutely a beautiful anniversary dinner and super romantic. Since this was a Monday night the place wasn’t super busy and so it felt like we were the only ones in the restaurant. I loved it. 10/10 recommend.

We enjoyed our visit to this classy Italian restaurant on Kings. We dined at the very nice bar, bartender was attentive without being overbearing. The wines were reasonably priced our favorite was actually the $9 pour of an Italian red. Meal wise the burratta was ok. I would guess that the tomato slices had been stored in the fridge. I know we are a little past tomato season but these flavorless discs were hard as a rock and cold. Literally had to break out a knife to cut them. However, things greatly improved with our entree the Pesca del Mar. A scampi based pasta with ample mussels, lobster and scallops. At least two full claws worth of meat and three scallops completely surrounded by a ring of mussels. The sauce was not oily and had a great ratio to the pasta and meats which were all full of flavor. Overall a really nice experience in a nice well appointed restaurant that would be suitable for a dressier date night, a classy family dinner or just a pleasant evening with friends.

Wow! What a disappointing experience!! We (a party of 6 adults) had reservations at 7 pm. We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately in the loudest non-sports bar I have ever been in. A female delivered menus and filled water glasses. Later a male waiter, Alex, came to take drink orders. We attempted to order iced tea and he said they had no tea this evening. We attempted to ask a few questions about soup, specials, and a few menu items. Since he was intent onstanding at the head of the table, we could not hear his responses after repeating our questions a couple more times. He left us. A female brought us a couple of bread baskets and oil dipping saucers. Alex returned to take our orders. He again intended to stay at the head of the table, but I requested he come to my shoulder. I do not like yelling at waiters in what are supposed to be nice restaurants. We got our 6 orders in. The appetizers were brought in a timely manner. Later followed by soup & salads - both were very good! Much later, we noticed several table of 3 & 4 people that had arrived after us and had already received their meals. My sister stopped the manager. Annie, and asked her to check on our food. LATER, she returned to say they were working on it. My sister said she sincerely hoped or meals would be discounted since we had now been seated for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Annie said yes, there would be discounts. Alex came around in a bit a set up the tray stand & Annie came by to say our food would be right out. 5 minutes later, 5 of our dinners were delivered with Alex saying he he hoped we understood that the delay was the kitchen, not him. He did not mention that we were missing a meal. Alex came to deliver requested grated cheese. We pointed out we were missing a meal. Several minutes later, the meal was delivered-one of the specials if the evening. It was a very small portion compared to everyone else's meals and very pricey. My sisters Mediteranian chicken dinner was room temperature but everyone else's was steaming hot. All meals tasted delicious, even the barely warm one. All of this took place as the party of 8 men next to us got louder & louder. Annie cane to check on us, my sister explained that her food had arrived at room temp. Annie said "No, you are mistaken, I watched the chef pour your dish up myself. " One of our party said the noise had been so bad that they were nauseous and could not eat. Annie took the meal and said she would not be charged. We asked Annie if would could have more water. She said she would bring it. Alex came to clear plates and we told him Annie failed to bring us water. He said he had brought it!!! My sister, who lives locally and had recommended this place, said no he had not brought water since we asked Annie for it. Alex told her nit to be rude!!!!! Our checks were delivered. Only one if the three checks had a discount which was only 10% and all had 20% tip added. (The loud men left.)Alex came to take checks. We pointed no discount on two checks. He said they were discounted. My sister proved hers had not been discounted. He left and returned with discounted tickets and water. We asked for Annie to come back. My sister started to tell her we would not be paying a 20% tip. She interrupted saying she had checked and had found that we had only been there an hour - it was now 8:49. My sister tried to explain that we were seated by 7. Annie interrupted to say my sister was mistaken. Annie then said our meals were delayed because one person ordered a chicken meal that takes 20 minutes to prepare - couldn't that have been noted on the menu or by Alex? My sister told her that she, Annie, had never brought our water. She said "Yes, I did" and pointed to the water Alex had just brought. We all paid cash so they could not charge the tip. We know the delay probably wasn't Alex's fault, but he was rude to us. We...

I recommend do not book a party larger than 8 people at this restaurant. My family and I were from out of town celebrating an engagement dinner, which the reservations for the occasion was booked a few months in advance with the restaurant. We did monthly check-ins to ensure our reservations were solid and there was no change to the party to include confirming with the store manager the same week.

Service was unsatisfactory. No one from the staff placed an order with our party or requested beverages until after 30 minutes after being seated. It took approximately another 20-25 minutes for drinks to be received. No one from the staff or manager came by to communicate any troubles with orders or delays. The staff continued to hangout by the registers and bar area. Communication was never established until they were ready to provide service. Upon receipt of our beverages we were asked for our main course.

The main course was not received until approximately 50 minutes later. The staff did not provide any updates until my party asked the status on the main course. One of the staff was very unpolite, while our party main concern was being served in a decent and timely manner. We party remain very professional with the staff but it became very challenging to have younger children in the party without even starters sent to our table.

After a couple times reaching out to other staff members to get support and not to take away from our celebration. The main course arrived. They were not synchronized well on who ordered what in our party. Our family was very patience but the staff did not make it any easier with the energy they delivered during delivery.

The manager the night of 3 August Had a decision with her very professionally and explained to her in detail. The food was not the issue of concern. The service was Very UNSATISFACTORY. Her response was I am doing my best to train them and we are short staff. Response was received but not once were we greeted by her and/or she coming by with her staff under instructions to ensure they were providing the right customer service. We observed her hanging out by the bar having social hour with staff who were not engaged with other parties. We also noticed it was not very busy that evening as well. The kitchen was doing their best as we could tell but the staff on the floor did not support them at all.

The Female Manager and I continued our decision about the service and I will truly felt there should be a accommodation on our side after nearly being at the restaurant for over 4 hours unintentionally on my family end due to the lack of service provided. She told us she could no removed the automatic 20 percent gratuity and it would take additionally time to close out all checks. After addressing my party about her inability to provide accommodation, we requested from her a solution. So partial of our party was forced to pay on because they had been there for so long and it became exhausting to continue to sit around with the atmosphere becoming no longer enjoyable.

She promised to work some type of gift cards for us, her stating she has the power to do so under her control with out higher management approval. Understanding the circumstances that most of my party were from out of the area. We never left with those cards. It was a complete disaster and she never came back to follow up but just sat around complaining to her staff about them taking larger parties in front of my family. UNSAT representation...

We’ve been to this restaurant before and had a great experience, even though some of the prices are a bit high for what you get — we felt the quality justified it. Unfortunately, our most recent visit for our anniversary was disappointing enough that we won’t be coming back.

When we arrived, the hostess asked if we had a reservation. We didn’t, but the place was pretty empty, so we didn’t think it would be a problem. Still, she looked stressed and told us we’d get our food faster if we sat at the bar instead of a table. That made little sense, but we agreed to be accommodating.

We placed our orders, but 5–10 minutes later, our server returned to ask what protein I wanted with my pasta — something that should’ve been clarified up front. Assuming it came with the meal, I asked for a chicken cutlet.

After finishing our appetizer, we waited an extremely long time for our entrees. The restaurant was far from busy, so the delay didn’t make much sense, but we were patient. Then, mid-conversation, a woman (who never introduced herself but seemed to be a manager) abruptly came over to our table. She was blunt and honestly pretty rude — she just said, “Your food is coming,” and added that they’d been busy with a reserved party. She asked if we needed anything, but it didn’t feel like a genuine offer, and definitely didn’t seem like she was offering anything complimentary, so we declined. The whole interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional.

When our meals finally arrived, my wife’s dish was fine. Mine, on the other hand, was terrible. The pasta was overcooked to the point it was falling apart, the sauce had a burnt flavor, and the “chicken cutlet” turned out to be two dry, grilled pieces of chicken that were hard to chew and not appetizing at all.

I didn’t want to cause a scene on our anniversary, so I planned to quietly pay and leave. But the waiter noticed I hadn’t touched my food and asked if something was wrong. I told him honestly. He said they always appreciate feedback and would talk to the chef. Ten minutes later, he returned to tell me the noodles were made fresh that day (as if that explained the overcooking) and then handed me the full check — including an extra charge for the chicken I didn’t want and didn’t eat. After seeing how the manager had handled things earlier, I didn’t feel it was worth pushing further. I paid the bill and we left. Honestly, it felt like being robbed.

We’ve never had an experience like this — not just the poor food, but the way the whole situation was handled. What should’ve been a special night ended up being frustrating and disappointing. We won’t be back. Response: 😂 It’s interesting that this is considered a fine dining establishment, yet the only other couple at the bar was vaping the entire time—in full view of us and your staff—without a single word said. On top of that, multiple guests were wearing hats, yet you choose to react defensively when someone offers valid criticism about your conduct. Rather than addressing concerns constructively, you...
