Burger King — Restaurant in Nacogdoches

Expensive garbage food. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. I went in today around 4 pm to get a few burgers with my wife. It was chilly out today and the interior of the restaurant wasn't much better. We ordered our burgers and the girl who took our order may have been new, but also didn't seem to care much that we were there. I stepped up and she didn't say anything until I said Hi. She took our order after getting help from a trainer(?). Fine, she's new. Then she puts our cup on the counter facing down(really?). We get our burgers and they are both cold. I didn't even want to take mine back because I was uncomfortable and I felt like nobody in there wanted to do anything. My wife took hers back and they gave her another burger only lukewarm this time. It was so slow, why couldn't we have a freshly made burger? They had obviously been under the heat lamps but the heat lamps weren't even hot. I repeat that it was a cold day outside. Am I only supposed to visit at busy times to get a decently heated meal? The place also has a greasy floor and nasty bathrooms. The owners have obviously given up. The south street location is much better from what I can see. I understand it was January 2nd, but I don't get why you can't at least pretend to care. Most of the staff seemed more interested in the game on TV than anything else. The food has only been mediocre when it was busy and the mozzarella sticks are nasty. Don't waste your money here. If your on HWY 59 coming into Lufkin just before the Whitehouse overpass you can easily see this Burger King. I like going through their drive thru because they are quick, never have long line so there's no wait and there's easy access. I typically like Burger King but this visit was not a good experience. If you order in the evenings be sure to double check your order while your there as there's nothing more irritating than getting home and missing an item. In my situation I couldn't tell there was a problem until I got home with the order. I ordered the chicken sandwich (one of my favs)..... it was on plain bread no sauce just a dried up chicken patty and a small piece of wilted lettuce that looked it had set out all day.
