This review is for the McDonald's by Hobby Lobby in Nampa. I go to this location fairly often to meet with friends. The food is usually very good although the McCafe drinks tend to be less than full. Service through drive thru is typically pretty quick and accurate. Inside, the store is small and does not have a playland, which is nice for those of us who have no children. Do not expect to see a clean lobby when you go inside. Nine times out of ten, the floor is quite dirty and several of the tables are needing wiped down. This is what you will find whether they are busy or not. I do know that this store is where new hires get their training so occasionally, I could see leaving the lobby for them, but it should Never be let go to the point that I have often seen it. Some of the staff are friendly and happy to be of help while others are not. Some think they are being helpful when they are actually causing more problems and trying to get you to pay more than you should. This doesn't happen often but when it does, it takes 3 or 4 people to decide how to handle it. On a more positive note, they typically end up either deeply discounting or just promoing the item to make it right. Once the lunch or dinner rush is over, the store is generally fairly quiet and a good place to study, read, color, or whatever you like to do that requires a bit quieter surroundings. Overall, if they were to improve the cleanliness and the staff friendliness and register knowledge, this McDonald's could potentially be a (haha) 5-star fast...

The cashier made me repeat myself 3 times and eventually I had to end up pulling out and pointing to the menu and showing her. When I got home, they all had ham on them. I understood and assumed that it was the cashiers first day. Had to go back and got a lot of attitude from the cashier and manager. When I got home, they had ham on them again. I almost didn't go back because I was scared of the manager but I had kids to feed. So I had to go back a Third time and got an even ruder response from the manager. When I went to the car, I checked my food and yet again they didn't give me what I needed, there was only egg inside. Read moreAbout a month ago, I walked into McDonald's and ordered two Big Macs, a drink and French fries, to go. The cashier charged me for an extra drink, but ultimately reimbursed me. When I returned home, we discovered that they had put extra spicey sauce on both of our Big Macs. The Big Macs were horrible. I immediately called McDonald's and explained that our Big Macs had a super spicy sauce on them, which I had not ordered. Upon reviewing the receipt, I noticed that the cashier had added this sauce to our order, including extra onions and pickles. The manager apologized and stated that she would send me two coupons for the mistake. After a week went by and I had not received my coupons, I called again. I explained the situation a second time and was once again promised two coupons. It has now been a month and I have yet to receive the coupons.
