Everything tasted so good here but my favorite dish of the night was definitely the Pappardelle with shrimp and wild mushrooms. A Memorable Culinary Experience at Ristorante Allegria: I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Allegria in Napa Valley, and I must say, it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was captivated by its charming ambiance and warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff at Ristorante Allegria were exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout the evening. They greeted me with genuine smiles, promptly seated me, and made me feel like a valued guest. The service was attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance. Now, let's talk about the food. Ristorante Allegria offers a delightful menu that showcases the best of Italian cuisine. The dishes I tried were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a culinary delight that left me wanting more. The ingredients used were fresh, and the attention to detail was evident in every dish. One standout dish I highly recommend is their homemade pasta. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sauces were rich and flavorful. It was evident that the chefs at Ristorante Allegria take great pride in their craft, as the flavors were expertly balanced, resulting in a harmonious combination of tastes. The wine list at Ristorante Allegria is extensive, offering an impressive selection of local and international wines. The knowledgeable staff was more than happy to provide recommendations based on my preferences, further enhancing the overall dining experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with a charming mix of modern and rustic elements. The attention to detail in the interior design creates a cozy and intimate setting that is perfect for both romantic dinners and special occasions. In terms of pricing, Ristorante Allegria offers excellent value for the quality of food and service provided. While it may be considered a bit more upscale, the overall experience justifies the price point. One minor aspect to note is that due to its popularity, Ristorante Allegria can get quite busy, especially during peak hours and weekends. I would recommend making a reservation in advance to secure a table and avoid any potential wait times. In summary, Ristorante Allegria in Napa Valley is a true gem. From the friendly staff to the exceptional cuisine, it offers an unforgettable dining experience. If you're looking for a place to indulge in delicious Italian dishes in a charming setting, Ristorante Allegria should be at the top of your list. I cannot wait to visit again and explore more of their culinary delights.

My buddy and I had just arrived in Napa, dropped our things at the Marriott and drove to the town square, only a few minutes from our hotel. Parking is tricky in small squares, we had to circle the block a couple of times but found a parking lot not too far away. It was a nice walk to the restaurant and at 4pm on a Friday afternoon, they had a few people but it wasn't too busy. We chose to sit out on the patio. It was so nice! Our server, Erika was friendly, maybe a little stiff and I had to wait a lot longer than I should have for my water to be refilled, but she was pleasant, did her job and knew the menu, as well as the wines. Although we didn't like the 1st one she brought us, I loved the 2nd choice - the Syrah, Lunar Ridge $14 and had 2 glasses! We weren't in any rush, we'd just flown in from Dallas and wanted to enjoy the time. I ordered the filet mignon $49.50 which was so good. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the presentation was lovely. My friend had the pappardelle allo zaferano $29.50 and really enjoyed it. She also had the ensalata mista $11.50. We chatted with the people at the next table and they were 1st timers here also and really enjoyed it. I went inside to visit the restroom and the dining area was nice. There is a huge bar that runs the length of the room on one side. To finish our meal, we both had dessert - I had the chocolate mousse cake $12 and my friend had the apple berry fruit crisp $12. They were yummy and the presentation was superb! I recommend this place for a nice evening!

First , the food : It wasn't bad at all, they serve you the bread with a sauce of olive oil; balsamic vinegar and pickled onions, amazingly flavorful and fresh, although the bread could have been warmer and fresher. We ordered the carpaccio; a great flavorful dish with capress and cheese . The mustard sauce is what takes it to the next level, there is also some chopped fresh onions that I personally loved . The Pastas : I had the Tagliatelle, and my wife ordered The pappardelle . Both were good but not exceptional. Mine was a little bit overcooked, with the pasta sticking to each other in some parts. My wife thought the pasta and the sauce were OK, but the shrimps were undercooked and chewy. The Service : very poor customer service. First; we felt rushed and not welcomed by our waitress. We felt almost underlooked. She didn't take the time that needed to be taken in our table and wasn't available if we needed any assistance. She didn't serve the wine I ordered from at the table. As a restaurant in napa, wine should always be brought to the table and poured into the glass at the table. We were literally waiting 10 minutes to make eye contact with her to ask for the check, and when we did , she brought it and left again for another 10 minutes. Usually I always tip a minimum of 20% , even with this customer service I was going to leave a 10% ; but as she wasn't coming to take the check, I ended up leaving the exact amount and leaving the restaurant. I made sure I told the lady at reception that we weren't satisfied with the customer service. Overall, I think we were unlucky with our waitress; we noticed that the overall waiters were very professional and took the necessary time with each table. Special mention to the lady who sat us at the table who was very professional. She even remembered my name when I left. I hope that this experience has nothing to do with any ethnic discrimination. The restaurant was very busy , and a new waitress without experience would have performed the same. I will probably give it another chance; but for now, I'm not recommending it to my guests.
