Our group had a fantastic lunch experience at Don Perico in Napa yesterday and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated immediately. The atmosphere is perfect - energetic and lively, yet still relaxed and comfortable. The beautiful Mexican decor adds a wonderful touch and the lovely outdoor seating area is a real treat.

We started with the guacamole dip, which was clearly made fresh. The avocados were perfectly ripe and the flavors were bright and vibrant. For our entrees, we ordered the Shrimp Fajita La Costa and the Flautas. The Shrimp Fajita La Costa was an absolute standout! The shrimp was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, and the peppers and onions were expertly seasoned. The flautas were crispy and delicious, filled with a savory mixture that had us wanting more.

To wash it all down, we ordered a pitcher of margarita and it was the perfect complement to the meal. It was well-balanced and refreshing, not too sweet and with a good kick!

Desert fried ice cream was in the house since we were celebrating a friend's birthday. Must try ice cream, it's delicious.

Beyond the delicious food and drinks, what really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service was also incredibly quick, which we really appreciated. We never felt rushed, but we also didn't have to wait long for anything.

Overall, Don Perico Napa exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was inviting. It was my very first time going here and I had the steak fajitas. but before we had fajitas I ordered the spicy bean dip and the chicken flautas. I'm not a fatty so I didn't eat all of it myself I was there with my fiance.Just want to clear that up before going on with my review. Bean dip was great because they added jalapenos and chorizo in their bean dip which was a nice change of pace because it gave it a little hardness to it and some chick. The chicken flautas were pretty good but not really they were basically deep fried taquitos and I really love flautas and I just was not a fan there was nothing to it they were they don't have very much taste at all. But then when we got to the fajitas that was bad boys were amazing. The steak Was Juicy the vegetables were crisp and fresh and the old sizzling pan was always fun growing up seeing and hearing and it just brings back memories. Overall, it was a great experience and the food was above average definitely but not the flautas. I wouldn't get those again but I would definitely order the bean dip and the fajitas again even though I won't because I'm going to try other things. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that's in Napa for some good Mexican food and I really chill atmosphere. drinks wise I just had a Coke and some sparkling didn't try any beer or the margaritas next time I probably will and I didn't have any dessert but I don't think I would have dessert there just because there's Ben & Jerry's around the corner and some other good places in Napa. Met 2 friends here for after work Margaritas and appetizers. I got there first and the hostess was very nice and didn't make me wait for them to be seated. Booths are comfortable and lots of leg room. I ordered a pitcher of house Margaritas and the Nachos half chicken/steak. A nice young man brought silver ware right away and water, chips & Salsa. Chips warm, salsa fresh and not too spicy ( sorry spicy people, I just cant) 🥵 they do have spicy if you ask. Our server came over and was so nice! He poured my drink and then took the pitcher to keep on ice so my friends had fresh drinks! Love that little detail! We gobbled down the nachos and then ordered Taquitos, Steak Quasadillas and another pitcher. Time flew as we all got into the catch up convos you have with friends and my water never ran out, we always had fresh napkins everytime I reached for one and our server was always near but did not hover.
