After walking by the Wine Girl storefront in Scottsdale back in 2022, I followed them on Instagram and have been incredibly impressed with their social media presence. This drew me into their Napa location, expecting the artsy vibes well-captured on Instagram. Unfortunately, due to the lack of customer service, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location to my friends or family.
I had high expectations for this location, as it is marketed extremely well on Instagram, embodying a 'girly girlās dream' with the perfect aesthetic and numerous photo opportunities. Upon arrival, the atmosphere seemed promising, with groups of women thoroughly enjoying themselves. However, my experience took a downturn from there.
I took a seat outside and was completely ignored by the staff. I had to chase them down to place my order inside. The only time the waitress came to our table was to deliver our charcuterie board and drinks simultaneously. Unlike the adjacent table, we were not offered any water on a hot day.
To make matters worse, I had to go back inside to pay the bill because they wouldn't ring me out at the table. I later noticed I was overcharged for the frosƩ, paying for an extra pour and a souvenir cup that was only 75% full at best.
The only redeeming factor was the charcuterie board, which was amazing. Though I couldnāt get details on the specific cheeses due to the unavailability of the staff, the jam was outstanding ā sweet with a kick, perfect with the cheese.
I hope my review provides a realistic perspective on why I wouldn't recommend this place. With improved customer service, I believe this place has...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe've been a half-dozen times and been happy every time before - the Barbie shot is always a hit, and the setting is perfect for the likes of a bachelorette or birthday party.
The most recent visit though, we had a very rude server. One member of the party went up and paid and left and the rest of the party left soon after. The server chased us down because we didn't realize our friend had only paid for her own drink. We came back, and I asked for a minute to confirm with our friend.
The server then became extremely condescending and started repeating the same thing louder and slower the way that some people do with people who don't speak English. I repeated the same request in multiple different ways, but the server seemed unable to comprehend.
Not sure if racist or just plain stupid, but stay away from the short, somewhat squat brunette. We've met the owners, and they're great, but this one employee reflects poorly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI experienced some of the rudest service of my entire life at Wine Girl.
The bartender tried to take advantage of me by pouring me two glasses of the most expensive wine on the menu and thinking I wouldnāt notice the amount being $75. When I said something about me having ordered the $15 per glass wine, she got her manager who proceeded to sass off to me that it was already poured so there was nothing she could do. I didnāt want to take the $75 wine but the manager actually poured the wine down the drain in front of me and never refunded me.
I also lost my purse (turns out it was stolen) and was very rudely dismissed by the staff when I merely asked if they found it or if I could search the area I had been standing, when the bar was closing.
The rudeness of the staff was so horrible and actually brought me to tears. I think the staff was drunk themselves and maybe this explains their...
