Would not EVER recommend. The rooftop bar is a VERY DANGEROUS floating floor and two of our party of 8 had the floor collapse under them tonight twisting his knee and In the fall, a drink (small rocks glass) and broke. Our guest instinctively apologized for the broken glass and noise although none of the event was his fault. The closest 2 bouncers/security who saw it happen also apologized to our party for the floor failure and said they would take care of the floor/new hole and broken glass but then may have advised the bar to immediately cash out our group. Within a couple moments of the floor collapse, our party returned to the bar where the bartender rudely advised our party they were not to be served another drink (they had been served 3 rounds total) and blamed the the guest in our party for the new hole in their floor. We were not at fault for Sky & Vineâs negligence and defective rooftop flooring. Their floor is clearly (see pictures) an unsupported âfloatingâ tile floor resting on small corner supports 3-4 inches above an (assumed) old asphalt roof. This setting could collapse beneath guests at a moments notice as it did with us tonight. Other than a bruised twisted knee; the bar is lucky no one was severely injured. We paid our bar tabs (2 separate tabs) in full plus gratuity, including the full drink that fell on the floor when the tile gave way under his feet.
Multiple Pictures are attached of the floor after the tile broke and left a gaping hole. The broken tile and broken rocks glass was quickly cleaned up by staff and Caution signs seen in the photo were set out our group was collecting and paying bar tabs and dealing with the rudest bartender and management. This was an incredibly dangerous situation and INSTEAD of an apology and kindness; the management and bar staff retaliated with rudeness and aggressive behavior...
Read moreIt's really unfortunate to give this establishment a bad review but the last few times I've been here the staff has not been very attentive or nice. Last time I visited I was just wanting to order some drinks for my brother for his birthday but it took 20 minutes before anyone came up to us and took our drink orders and it wasn't even particularly busy that night being that it was a Tuesday in December. Even worse was the visit before that when some friends and I visited one evening to just hangout and have some cocktails. We ordered our drinks from the bar and proceeded to wait for some seats at the lounge. Had no problem waiting but about 5 minutes after my friends and I were able to find some seats we were approched by the hostess and she said "you can't sit there because it's reserved for a bigger party". No one informed us that those seats could be reserved or anything upon walking in. So we got up and waited for seating at another section of the lounge. Watching the seats that we had just be asked to get up from , no one had arrived for 20 minutes. When the 'bigger" party arrived it was only three people... The same as my group. Granted these people were more seasoned in age compared to us young adults but is our money not green too? Don't know why I keep having bad experiences here but whatever it is it's too bad because I used to really...
Read moreA few of my friends and I went here after a fun trip to the beach. The menu looked really good and the wine even better. But the service was honestly really bad. The waiter Christian came over and introduced himself. He asked what drinks we'd like and we got waters and wine. After that we put in our food order, wings and a chicken sandwich. I'm not sure what put him off but he went over to everyone else's table 3-4 times and didn't come over to us after he put in our order. I work in the restaurant industry so I get things can get busy/ stressful but it was off putting to watch him go over to everyone else's table and ignore ours. His section looked to be sat about 5 tables but I could be wrong. We were complaining about how we needed napkins amongst ourselves (we ate our entire order without napkins or a single refill on water) and the manger who happened to walk by the table next to us overheard. He offered to grab us water and napkins. He then asked, anything else? We asked for the check and even he couldn't be bothered to bring the that by We still tipped 20% bc we work in the service industry and I hope that teaches them that just because we don't look like the rich ppl around us in fancy clothes and jewelry doesn't mean we can't afford a...
