It's a small and comfy café with photos of their food and other Japanese goods. The staff are very kind! I will say the drinks and food are alright. I went on separate days. The first day I ordered a Hokkaido taro milk latte, salmon onigiri, and the chicken udon. The latte took quite a while, with it arriving when I was nearly done with my udon. The drink was alright, maybe it wasn’t to my taste but it didnt have much flavor. The onigiri had the same issue many others have already said, only a small silver of protein and then your left with lots of rice. The rice itself is very good but I wish it had some more salmon filling. The chicken udon was very good, I haven't found many places that serve it. It was simple but tasted very clean and yummy. My second visit I had a matcha latte (with oat milk), spicy chili pork dumplings, and a strawberry cake roll. I think the matcha was alright for my first time trying it. I was a bit surprised at the portion size of the dumplings, but the salad was a nice compliment to it. They were also soft and chewy, something I would definitely order again. The flavor of the cake roll surprised me, but I ended up liking it quite a bit. It's light and not too sweet, which complimented the matcha latte. I will say some items are a bit pricey for a a café, but I will continue to visit and find my favorite items.

I recently visited Sendo Japanese Café in Naples, and it was such a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is cozy, modern, and filled with natural light — perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. I tried two drinks: one was a refreshing mango fruit tea, and the other was a classic milk tea with boba. Both were absolutely delicious! The fruit tea had a bright, tropical flavor that tasted really fresh, not too sweet, and very smooth. The milk tea was creamy, perfectly balanced, and the tapioca pearls were soft and chewy — exactly how good boba should be. The presentation was also great — everything looked clean and professional, and the drinks came in stylish cups with the café’s unique logo. You can tell they care about both quality and detail. It’s definitely one of the best Japanese-style cafés I’ve been to in the area. I’ll be coming back to try more of their drinks and desserts for sure! Highly recommended if you’re looking for great flavor, relaxing vibes, and friendly service.

I wanted to love it but I guess if you’re not a popular food & restaurant critic your food will not come as advertised. The onrigiri was a pound of rice and a small dollop of the meat and it was so expensive! The matcha crème cake literally had no matcha crème only again like a quarter sized amount that fit in my spoon and the boba was old and stale!! I was SOOO excited to try this place because of all the positive reviews, but I was very disappointed. I drove from the other side of Naples just to try Sendo de Cafe. But just wanted to warn everyone to leave somewhat disappointed. the place is so cool it’s such a vibe! And the workers are incredibly nice! But the food was very disappointing

Positives: very cute vibe, seemingly authentic Japanese cafe with tasty teas and lattes. You want to love it. Food is good, not great

Negatives: “onigiri” is 9 dollars and you get a small sliver of protein and a small sliver of nori. So essentially just a ball of rice with accents. Wish we could find authentic onigiri here. The egg sando was tasty, maybe a bit reliant on kewpie, but the bread couldn’t hold up the filling so it was a mess.

Worst part was it took 5 minutes to get a matcha latte, 20 minutes to get a hot regular matcha, 30 mins for one rice ball and the sando, and it took over an hour to get our second rice ball (all ordered at the same time). Maybe they forgot it, but they never admitted that and a quick “sorry” was thrown at us before hurrying away.

So glad a place like this exists in Naples, but it has a long way to go before being a functional restaurant. What should be a quick bite cafe turns into a long experience for simple, expensive food. For a cafe not opening until lunch is a bit strange as well. Will try again, hopefully they make...
